To the Editor:
We just wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who helped at this year’s Safe Graduation Party held for the graduating seniors of Cornwall Central High School. It was touch and go for awhile as to whether we would be able to actually have the party but everyone came through in the end to hold a very successful party!
In addition to the parents, community members, alumni and businesses, we especially want to thank Dr. Sheboy, Barbara O’Rourke, and Walt Moran and his crew, for helping us keep this 21 year tradition alive.
For those of you not familiar with the party Project Safe Graduation is an all-night, alcohol-free, drug-free, party for graduating seniors and their guest. The celebration is held the night of graduation and is packed with entertainment, food, music, games and prizes.
We are already in the process of planning the party for the Class of 2010 and encourage everyone to volunteer. If you have any questions or would like to help you can reach us at [email protected].
