10:05 a.m. Police issue a summons to Thomas Bregman, 49, of Cornwall for a vehicle and traffic violation.
11:51 a.m. Police issue a summons to Harold Desgraviers, 43, of Cornwall-on-Hudson, for a vehicle and traffic violation.
Friday, March 2
9:08 p.m. Police respond to a complaint of barking dogs. Officer finds three dogs in a pen barking and no one home.
Saturday, March 3
12:30 a.m. Police respond to a complaint of a noisy generator at the fire house.
3:20 a.m. Police issue a summons for driving on the wrong side of the road to Christopher O’Dell, the driver of a blue pick up truck, following an accident on Hudson Street. O’Dell fell asleep while driving and struck a parked vehicle and the building at 240 Hudson Street. The building is evacuated by Superintendent of Public Works Bob Gilmore until a structural engineer approves building safety. (read more)
9:14 a.m. Police respond to a complaint of barking dogs at same location where complaint was made the previous evening. Dogs are brought inside.
2:47 p.m. Police respond to a fire alarm at the Storm King School that was set off by cooking.
4:20 p.m. Police respond to a complaint of barking dogs at same location where earlier complaints were made. Dogs are not barking when the officer arrives but owner brings them inside.
11:59 p.m. Police respond to a fire alarm at Storm King School that was set off when students burned popcorn. As this was the second alarm that day caused by a similar problem, the school locked up the microwave.
