Thursday, November 23
12:28 a.m. Police respond to a complaint of noise from Nicky’s restaurant and told owner that the large group of patrons outside were creating an unacceptable level of noise.The group dispersed, then officer spotted a noisy group again thirty minutes later and dispersed that group.
1:18 a.m. Police arrest a 22-year-old female and charge her with public exposure on River Avenue.
8:12 a.m. Police respond to a report from the DB Mart that a person was in the bathroom for an extended amount of time and is not responding when the clerk knocks on the door. Police finds the subject on his knees in the bathroom, shaking and confused, and is taken to the emergency room of St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital by COVAC.
6:42 p.m. Police respond to a domestic dispute where two people say a third person, who lives at the residence but is in the Ulster County jail for DWI, asked them to safeguard his stuff. When the female went to the home of the recently-separated man, she found another person there when she knocked on the door. After an argument with the person, the first woman calls the police, who speak to the homeowner. The ex-wife, who was the person in the house, is told to leave.
Friday, November 24
6:35 p.m. Police tell a group of juveniles at the elementary school to leave the area.
6:40 p.m. Police talk to three young men at the riverfront who say they are waiting for a friend and tell them the park had closed at dark.
9:05 p.m. Police issue a summons to Kristian Tibbetts, 19, of Cornwall-on-Hudson, for insufficient car headlights.
Saturday, November 25
3:30 p.m. Police receive a report from a woman and her friend, the passenger in her car, who says a man kicked their car, then got into his car and followed them to Newburgh. The complainant then came to the station to file a report. While there, the man who allegedly kicked their car came into the station to complain that the woman speeds on the road and it made him very nervous because he has three little kids that play outside. There was a foot-long scratch on the car.
The man admitted to following the car. He didn’t admit to kicking the car but was willing to pay for the car to be buffed and gave the complainant $150, which was accepted for full satisfaction.
