6:34 a.m. Police respond to a report of an injured deer on Hudson Street and observe the animal has four broken legs and appears to have been hit by a motor vehicle. Police dispatch the deer.
8:50 a.m. Police dispatch a rabid raccoon on West Street.10:53 a.m. Police issue a summons to Alexander Costa, 20, of Newburgh, for driving a car with an expired inspection sticker.
Friday, November 17
3:49 p.m. Police tell a group of juveniles at the Cornwall-on-Hudson Elementary School to move along.
6:18 p.m. Police receive a report of a loose door in the Idlewild Park area but don't find anything. Owner later reports the dog has been located.
7:00 p.m. Police take a report from a woman who says she has an on-going harassment problem with her brother--in-law.
10:43 p.m. Police receive a complaint from a woman on Hudson Street who says that someone is banging on the rear window of her residence. Person banging turns out to be a friend.
11:41 p.m. Carlos Reyes, 26, of Newburgh, is ticketed for driving a vehicle with a headlight out and for driving without a valid license.
Saturday, November 18
1:39 a.m. Police issue a summons to Tracy Atkins, 34, of Cornwall-on-Hudson, for failure to signal a turn.
2:52 a.m. Police respond to a report of shots fired in the area of Cherry Avenue. Officer hears fireworks in the vicinity of Boulevard but does not locate and suspects.
7:51 a.m. Police respond to a report of a car parked in neutral and rolling backwards on Route 9W and assist by calling a towing company.
