Wednesday, July 1
1:46 a.m. Police issue a traffic ticket to a driver on Route 32.
3:53 p.m. Police respond to a report of damage to the Lemon Building on Main Street by someone who had written on the steps with a magic marker.
6:27 p.m. Police respond to a report of a bear on the property of a Mine Hill Road residence but it is gone on arrival.
7:16 p.m. Police set up flares near an area of Route 32 that is flooded because of clogged catch basins.
7:40 p.m. Police respond to a one-car motor vehicle accident on Route 94.
9:39 p.m. Police respond to a report of a loud band practicing and agree to cease playing at 10 p.m.
Thursday, July 2
1:19 a.m. Police observe what appears to be new graffiti at the post office.
1:44 a.m. Police respond to a two-car motor vehicle accident on Mill Street.
9:48 a.m. Police assist fire department and central Hudson with a tree that fell across Route 32, pulling utility wires down.
5:31 p.m. Police take a report of two stores stolen from a warehouse on Route 32.
5:40 p.m. Police respond to a motor vehicle accident on Route 9W that occurred when a vehicle ran over a dead deer.
10:30 p.m. Police issue a traffic ticket to a driver on Route 32.
11:42 p.m. Police issue a ticket to a driver for traveling 56 mph in a 40 mph zone on Route 94.
11:47 p.m. Police advise three juveniles playing basketball at the town court that the park is closed.
Friday, July 3
12:02 a.m. Police respond to a report of a loud party on Warren Court and advise homeowners.
5:59 a.m. Police give a courtesy ride to a male subject passed out on the front lawn of a residence on Mailler Avenue.
11:11 a.m. Police charge 19-year-old James Pedicini, of Highland Falls, with petty larceny and possession of stolen property after he is allegedly observed taking 24 Buffalo chicken wings from Key Foods.
12:11 p.m. Police take a report of jewelry taken from a jewelry box
3:15 p.m. Police issue a ticket to a driver for having an obstructed view.
8:19 p.m. Police respond to a motor vehicle accident on I-87 that resulted in a head injury.
Saturday, July 4
4:38 a.m. Police respond to a rollover motor vehicle accident on Industry Drive and charge the driver, Damien Donovan, 36, of Highland Mills, with driving while intoxicated and with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
9:14 a.m. Police investigate a report of severe damage to the Orange County Meals on Wheels vehicle that apparently was taken for a joy ride overnight and returned back to Munger Cottage with damage to the side of the vehicle.
10:44 a.m. Police respond to a complaint of damage to a home on Deer Hill Road from paintballs and advise a neighbor to be careful when having a paint ball match.
1:55 a.m. Police respond to a report of a 6-year-old bitten by a dog at the 4th of July celebration.
4:14-45 p.m. Police tow several vehicles illegally parked on Main Street.
6:07 p.m. Police advise a group of juveniles to get out of the kiddie pool.
9:06 p.m. Police advise resident who was setting off fireworks.
9:10 p.m. Police ticket several vehicles parked in the fire lane at the middle school.
9:50 p.m. Police charge a 16-year-old from the town of Newburgh with reckless endangerment, unlawfully dealing with fireworks and unlawful possession of marijuana after he allegedly set off firecrackers near a group of people in town hall park.
9:43 p.m. Police assist an intoxicated male who had fallen in the woods behind town hall park to return to his residence.
Sunday, July 5
12:12 a.m. Police help locate a missing 16-year-old male who is found in a taxi in Newburgh.
1:51 a.m. Police disburse a group of juveniles at Lee Road who were believed to be setting off fireworks.
3:35 a.m. Police issue a traffic ticket to a driver on Laurel Avenue.
9:01 a.m. Police respond to a car vs. motorcycle accident on Route 94 with injuries.
10:57 a.m. Police issue a traffic ticket to a driver on Route 32.
3:06 p.m. Police issue a traffic ticket to a driver on Route 94.
7:12 p.m. Police charge 28-year-old Nicole Domenech, of New Windsor, with speeding with aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle due to numerous active suspensions.
8:44 p.m. Police advise subjects on Sycamore Drive to stop shooting a potato gun that was mistaken for fireworks.
10:54 p.m. Police charge 23-year-old Joseph Medina, of Salisbury Mills, with unlawful possession of marijuana after a traffic stop on Route 32.
