General News: Teen Charged With Urinating in Public Hallway
June 25, 2009
The Town of Cornwall Police Department arrested a 16-year old Cornwall man on Thursday and charged him with disorderly conduct, a violation, after it was discovered that he urinated in a hallway in the Town Hall complex. After a similar incident occurred this past weekend police installed a camera, which led to this arrest.
In a statement, police chief Hazard condemned the behavior that led to the charges. “It is very unfortunate that we have a small percentage of youth in town that have no respect for other people’s property or society in general,” he said. “It is shocking that a person in a civilized society would behave in such a manner.”
The unidentified 16-year-old was released to reappear on August 6, 2009.
