Thursday, October 26
9:56 a.m. Police receive a report that a man with a bow and arrow parked his grey Trailblazer on Shore Road and went into the woods. Police locate the vehicle but don’t find the alleged hunter.
11:02 a.m. Police receive a complaint from the principal of the Cornwall-on-Hudson Elementary School about youths skateboarding during school hours. Upon arrival, police find one teen who was very disorderly and who was taken to the police station while his mother is contacted to come pick him up. The school principal advised police that the school district would sign a charge on anyone who trespassed on school property and police say they need a letter from the district and a sign posted as well.
3:23 p.m. Police receive a complaint from Cumberland Farms about a large group of juveniles at the story. On arrival, the juveniles are gone but police catch up with a couple of them on Avenue A and warn them that Cumberland Farms doesn’t want them loitering at the store.
5:43 p.m. Police respond to a report of a possibly rabid skunk on First Street. Homeowner says they will wait to see if the skunk wanders off into the woods and will call again if skunk is still around.
8:28 p.m. Deena Acquafredda, 21, of Cornwall-on-Hudson, is issued a summons for insufficient headlights.
Friday, October 27
2:35 p.m. Donald Doherty, 18, of Newburgh, is issued a summons for not wearing a seatbelt and not carrying a driver’s license.
3:33 p.m. Timothy Stout, 39, of Cornwall-on-Hudson, is issued a summons for not wearing a seat belt, an equipment violation, and failure to use a signal twice.
5:09 p.m. Two vehicles were issued tickets for parking in a fire zone at Cornwall-on-Hudson elementary school.
Saturday, October 28
12:34 a..m. Police provide traffic control assistance for a motor vehicle accident on Academy Avenue in the town of Cornwall.
11:08 a.m. Police respond to a report of a wire down on Hudson Street and fire department removes a branch on a wire.
12:20 p.m. Police respond to a report of a tree limb in the road on Shore Road and remove it.
1:27 p.m. Martin Delgado, 20, of Cornwall, is issued a summons for driving while using hands to talk on a cell phone.
10:56 p.m. Police respond to a domestic incident in which a woman complains that her husband had been drinking since the night before and the two had argued all day. Woman states that her husband broke her cell phone and grabbed her and threw her out of the house. She takes her two children and goes to stay in a motel.
11:26 p.m. Police respond to a complaint of damage done to a flower box on Hudson Street by a youths who the ran away. Officer returns the flower box to its original position and checks area for subjects.
