Monday, June 15
7:35 a.m.  Police respond to a report of a car that struck a stone wall on Clarkwood Drive.  No injuries.

7:55 a.m.  Police respond to a report of a dog struck by a vehicle on Route 9W and animal control is contacted to retrieve the dog after it became aggressive.

8:22 a.m.  Police respond to a motor vehicle accident on Otterkill Road.

10:27 a.m.  Police assist Child Protective Services and animal control in removing endangered kittens from a residence.

12:49 p.m.  Police respond to a minor motor vehicle accident on Mineral Springs Road.

3:05 p.m.  Police respond to a two-car motor vehicle accident on Route 9W and Laurel Avenue.

4:57 p.m.  Police respond to a two-car motor vehicle accident on Route 9W.

7:48 p.m.  Police issue a ticket to a driver on Route 32 for driving 54 mph in a 40 mph zone.

7:56 p.m.  Police issue a ticket to a driver on Route 32 for driving 56 mph in a 40 mph zone.

8:16 p.m.  Police issue a ticket to a driver on Route 9W for driving 62 mph in a 45 mph zone.

8:31 p.m.  Police issue a parking ticket to a vehicle parked facing traffic.


Tuesday, June 16
3:20 a.m.  Police respond to a report about juveniles making noise at Cornwall Plaza and advise subjects, who said they were playing ball.

8:58 a.m.  Police respond to a report of a bear cub in a yard on Mine Hill Road and the bear is gone on arrival.

11:16 a.m.  Police issue a ticket to a driver on Jackson Avenue for driving 51 mph in a 30 mph zone.

4:31 p.m.  Police issue two traffic tickets to a driver on Route 9W.

4:52 p.m.  Police respond to a report of a bear at a house on Lakeview trail and the woman got into her house before the arrival of the officer and did not want the bear chased away.

8:00 p.m.  Police respond to a domestic dispute.

10:50 p.m.  Police issue a ticket on Route 9W for driving 72 mph in a 55 mph zone.


Wednesday, June 17
12:16 a.m.  Police locate two males crouching behind vehicles at the Bernicker Dodge parking lot and advise them they are trespassing.

1:14 a.m.  Police respond to a noise complaint on Ferguson Road and advise residents to turn the music down.

9:02 a.m.  Police respond to a one-car motor vehicle accident on Route 32 in which the driver veered off the roadway and struck two metal road signs.

12:18 p.m.  Police investigate a report of a subject threatened by his tenant.

3:34 p.m.  Police respond to a harassing complaint involving two middle school students.

5:11 p.m.  Police issue a traffic ticket to a driver on Route 9W.

8:05 p.m.  Police charge a 14-year-old female with criminal mischief after she allegedly threw a brick through the windows of a residence.

10:55 p.m.  Police issue a traffic ticket to a driver on Route 32.

11:23 p.m.  Police issue a traffic ticket to a driver on Route  9W.


Thursday, June 18
12:00 a.m.  Police issue a traffic ticket to a driver on Route 94.

9:41 a.m.  Police respond to a report of a bear on the porch of a residence on Route 94 and the bear is gone on arrival.

10:05 a.m.  Police investigate a report of criminal mischief at a construction site at Willow Avenue school in which warning signs were removed, a port-a-potty tipped over, and wooden beams were thrown into a pit.

1:27 p.m.  Police respond to a motor vehicle accident with injuries on Route 94.

7:43 p.m.  Police respond to a report of a bear in the back yard of a residence on Paradise Hill Road but it is gone on arrival.

8:30 p.m.  Police take a report of a harassment complaint.

7:49 p.m.  Police respond to a report of a distraught female who had stopped taking her medication and who talked of committing suicide.  Covac transports the woman to Cornwall hospital and police remove a shotgun from the home.

11:16 p.m.  Police issue a traffic ticket to a driver on Route 32.
