Dear Editor:
When I take the northbound exit from 9W to Route 218 I notice that it’s very difficult to see cars coming from the southbound exit.
A couple of days ago, in fact, I pulled out right in front of another car that was in my blind spot — I’d looked carefully and seen nothing (sorry to whoever you are). Luckily, the driver of the car I pulled out in front of used his/her horn to warn me of their presence, and there was no collision (thanks to whoever you are).
I was wondering if the town might consider installing a mirror at that junction, to make it easier for everyone to see oncoming traffic. Just a thought.

Comments:
perhaps after the mirror is installed the bushes that were planted by some eejit on either side of the main entrance/exit to Key Food cut be cut back so that a driver can actually see the oncoming traffic...

I have also cut off people thinking I had looked well. I found that I had to actually stop at the yield sign and really turn around to look to give a car that was in my blind spot time to move out of it. In this day and age of people being in such a hurry, stopping at a yield sign could cause an accident, even though it may be necessary.
