2:50 p.m. Police take a report from a driver who said she went down Dock Hill Rd. mistakeningly, then backed up and hit something, apparently a telephone pole.
Friday, October 13
2:50 p.m. Police take a report of a lost black-and-white cocker spaniel from the area of Spruce Street.
3:59 p.m. Police respond to a call of an oven fire and turn the scene over to the Storm King Fire company.
5:37 p.m. Police tell a group of juveniles at the elementary school to move along.
5:42 p.m. Police respond to a complaint about barking dogs and speak with the dog owner.
6:18 p.m. Police tell a group of juveniles at the elementary school to move along.
6:36 p..m. Police respond to a call of wires on a tree on Deer Hill Road and assist the Central Hudson crew there.
9:45 p.m. Police respond to a report of juveniles yelling obscenities at a woman as she walked her dog near the municipal parking lot. On arrival, the officer notices a 12-pack and a 6-pack of Heinken sitting by the young men. When asked whose beer it was, they all state that it is theirs and they are all drinking it. All subjects, one from Cornwall and three from New WIndsor, are patted down prior to being placed into the patrol car and the officer locates a silver flask containing vodka and a quart of Skol vodka. The four suspects, ages 17 to 19, will appear in court on October 19.
10:24 p.m. Police respond to a domestic dispute call between a mother and daughter and talk with both parties.
Saturday, October 14
2:58 p.m. A woman comes to the police station to file a report that her car was damaged by a falling walnut from a black walnut tree as she was driving down Hudson Street.
