Monday, May 25
8:57 a.m.  Police investigate a report that $2 was stolen from a wallet left overnight in a unlocked vehicle on Maple Street.

9:30 a.m.  Police investigate a report of a GPS stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked overnight on Howard Street.

10:27 a.m.  Police investigate a report of a GPS stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked overnight on Brewster Road.

11:13 a.m.  Police investigate a report of a Blue Tooth radio and ear piece stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked overnight on Marshall Drive.

11:19 a.m.  Police respond to a domestic dispute.

8:23 p.m.  Police assist village police with arrest of a disorderly female.


Tuesday, May 26
6:34 a.m.  Police investigate a report of a GPS and a satellite radio stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked overnight on Laurel Avenue.

9:14 a.m.  Police investigate a report of a wallet stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked overnight on Hampton Place.

9:55 a.m.  Police transport a suicidal male subject to Arden Hill hospital for observation.

2:32 p.m.  Police take a report of criminal mischief in the flowerbeds at Chadeayne Circle, where a sprinkler head was broken off and beer cans were found.

3:08 p.m.  Police respond to a two car motor vehicle accident on Jackson Avenue.

6:15 p.m.  Police issue two traffic tickets, including one for an unlicensed driver, to a male on Route 9W.


Wednesday, May 27
12:38 a.m.  Police respond to a report of a person trying to break into a car on Academy and arrest a 17-year-old male.

6:10 a.m.  Police respond to Cornwall hospital for a report of a female patient who left on foot without being discharged, locate her and return to the hospital.

9:05 a.m.  Police investigate a report of a radar detector stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked overnight on Howard Street.

3:52 p.m.  Police respond to a motor vehicle accident on Main Street.

5:23 p.m.  Police investigate a report of a GPS stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked overnight on Willow Avenue.

5:23 p.m.  Police locate a subject who rode his ATV on a hay field, making donuts in the grass, and he apologizes to the owner of the field.



Thursday, May 28
6:45 a.m.  Police respond to a report of criminal mischief to a vehicle that had two bags of leaves and two traffic cones dumped on top of it.

7:21 a.m.  Police recover two stolen wallets from a sewer drain on Hampton Place.  They were empty.

10:06 a.m.  Police respond to a domestic dispute.

12:23 p.m.  Police take a report from a woman who lost her GPS unit at Storm King Golf Club.

12:42 p.m.  Police respond to a motor vehicle accident in which a truck knocked off the side mirror of a car parked on Main Street.

12:56 p.m.  Police contact the dog officer to transport a stray husky to Flannery Hospital.

3:29 p.m.  Police issue a ticket to a driver for going 45 mph in a 30 mph zone on Jackson Avenue.

6:03 p.m.  Police take a report from a woman who is getting harassing phone calls from her ex-boyfriend.


Friday, May 29
7:25 a.m.  Police respond to domestic dispute involving a juvenile.

9:43 a.m.  Police investigate a report of credit card fraud in which someone ordered a $1,000 laptop computer using the victim’s credit card.

11:20 a.m.  Police take a report of the theft of a satellite radio on Monday night from an unlocked vehicle parked on Chadeayne Avenue.

11:25 a.m.  Police issue a ticket to a subject on Route 32 for talking on the phone while driving.

11:41 a.m.-12:13 p.m.  Police issue four tickets for failure to stop at the stop sign at Shore Drive and Ash.

1:33 p.m.  Police issue a ticket to a driver for not wearing a seat belt.

2:58 p.m.  Police issue a ticket on Route 94 to a driver with an inadequate muffler.

3:14 p.m.  Police issue a traffic ticket to a driver on Route 94.

3:22 p.m.  Police issue a traffic ticket to a driver on Route 94.

3:47-4:06 p.m.  Police issue two tickets for failure to stop at the stop sign at Shore Drive and Ash.

4:03 p.m.  Police issue a ticket for an expired inspection sticker to a vehicle parked at the train station.

4:13 p.m.  Police remove a dead deer from the roadway on Angola Road.

4:28 p.m.  Police issue a ticket for an expired inspection sticker to a vehicle parked at the train station.

5:08 p.m.  Police issue a traffic ticket to a vehicle on Mill Street.

8:18 p.m.  Police issue a ticket for driving 60 mph in a 40 mph zone on Route 32.

10:17 p.m.  Police issue a ticket for driving 55 mph in a 40 mph zone on Route 94.

11:00 p.m.  Police issue a ticket for driving 63 mph in a 40 mph zone on Route 9W.


Saturday, May 30
4:00 a.m.  Police advise a loud group at the high point of Route 218 to leave.

6:44 a.m.  Police respond to an alarm that was apparently activated when someone had tried to gain access to a residence on Beaks Road.  Investigation continues.

7:01 a.m.  Police investigate a report that unknown persons took baseball bases and removed them from the fields.  One was found in the pond. Also a broken beer bottle was found in the women’s room and toilet paper was strewn around.

10:20 a.m.  Police respond to a report that the window of a vehicle parked at Canterbury Avenue had been broken overnight.

12:16 p.m.  Police issue a traffic ticket for going 76 mph in a 40 mph zone on Route 32.

2:23 p.m.  Police assist with a disorderly patient in the hospital emergency room.

4:50 p.m.  Police observe several juveniles walking on the Moodna train trestle but after climbing up after the youths, they had scattered into the woods.

5:37 p.m.  Police issue a ticket to a driver for failure to wear a seat belt.

6:45 p.m.  Police respond to a report of a large group of juveniles fighting on the little league field who then ran toward Weeks Avenue.  Not located.

11:38 p.m.  Police respond to a report of an assault and refer the information to justice court for further action.


Sunday, May 31
1:03-1:40 a.m.  Police issue two traffic tickets.

2:09 a.m.  Police assist subject to locate his 80-year-old aunt driving home from Florida who had not arrived as scheduled.  Using her credit card receipts, woman is located in Massachusetts later in the day.

7:44-9:00 a.m.  Police issue two traffic tickets.

12:37 p.m.  Police respond to a report of a vehicle that knocked down several mail boxes on Route 32.

4:29 p.m.  Police issue a ticket for driving 81 mph in a 55 mph zone on Route 9W.

5:31 p.m.  Police take a report of harassment.

6:12-7:20 p.m.  Police issue five tickets to drivers for failure to stop at the stop sign at Shore Drive and Ash.

9:10 p.m.  Police issue a ticket for driving 59 mph in a 40 mph zone on Route 32.

9:15 p.m.  Police transport a stray white female Lab to Flannery’s Animal hospital.

11:12 p.m.  Police respond to a report of harassing phone calls.
