General News: High School Athlete Uninjured in Crash

A Cornwall high school senior walked away from an accident on Academy Avenue in Cornwall on Monday evening.
Kevin Arduino, a star player on the varsity football and baseball teams, was driving the car when he hit a small tree and street sign at the exit from Route 9W onto Academy Avenue. The car caught on fire and units of the Cornwall fire department responded, extinguishing the blaze.
Arduino and his passenger were uninjured in the accident, which occurred shortly after 7:30 p.m.
