Sunday, May 24
4:44 p.m. Police issue a traffic ticket on Hudson Street to 1 40-year-old male from Cornwall-on-Hudson.
Monday, May 25
2:08 p.m. Police issue a parking ticket to a vehicle parked without a permit at the riverfront.
3:45 p.m. Police respond to a motor vehicle accident that occurred when a driver backing into a parking space at the riverfront struck another vehicle.
7:40 p.m. Police arrest 46-year-old Patricia Vanzo of Highland Falls for disorderly conduct after she slapped an officer who was attempting to remove her from a residence where she was an unwanted visitor.
10:51 p.m. Police respond to a report of a loud party on Curie Road and advise residents.
Tuesday, May 26
5:50 a.m. Police issue a traffic ticket to a 73-year-old male from Newburgh for speeding on Route 218.
9:04 a.m. Police respond to Shore Road to a train that was blocking the road after it blew an air brake.
10:35 a.m. Police issue a ticket for failure to wear a seat belt to a male driver from New Rochelle.
11:50 a.m. Police issue tickets, one to the 72-year-old female driver and one to the 64-year-old female passenger, for not wearing seatbelts.
11:55 a.m. Police issue a traffic ticket on Hudson Street to a 39-year-old male driver from Cornwall-on-Hudson.
12:08 p.m. Police issue a ticket, one to a 22-year-old male from Cornwall-on-Hudson and one to a 59-year-old from new Windsor, for not wearing seatbelts.
12:12 p.m. Police issue a ticket on Avenue A to a 21-year-old male from Cornwall-on-Hudson.
12:37 p.m. Police issue a traffic ticket on Shore Road to a 20-year-old male from Cornwall-on-Hudson.
12:53 p.m. Police respond to a report of a larceny from a vehicle parked in a driveway on Jean Court on the night of May 23.
1:20 p.m. Police issue a traffic ticket on Hudson Street to a 43-year-old male from Cornwall.
1:54 p.m. Police issue a traffic ticket on Hudson Street to a 30-year-old male from Middletown.
Wednesday, May 27
12:38 a.m. Police respond to an eyewitness report of a male on Pine Street attempting to enter a parked vehicle. Village and town police respond and pick up the a male matching the description on Academy Avenue and later charge him with several counts of petty larceny. (See full story.)
