Police Blotter: Police Blotter 9/10-9/13

Sunday, September 10

6:47 p.m. Police respond to a report of two dogs loose in the Bay View Avenue area, find them and return them to their owner.
7:31 p.m. Police respond to a complaint of noisy youths outside a Hudson Street residence and tell youths to disperse.
7:45 p.m. Police tell a disorderly person at the bandstand to move along.

Monday, September 11

9:55 p.m. Police respond to a complaint of a man yelling in the street on Avenue A. He is advised to be quiet and go inside because residents are sleeping.

Tuesday, September 12

12:40 a.m. Police assist ambulance on a call at Storm King School for an 18-year-old female having trouble breathing and who couldn't speak clearly. Police gave her oxygen and she was taken to the hospital.
5:18 p.m. Police tell a group of skateboarders at the elementary school to move along.


Wednesday, September 13

9:50 a.m. A passerby finds four $20 bills on the sidewalk near 2 Alices Coffee Lounge and brings it to the police station. The police inquire at businesses there if anyone reported money lost. No one had. Later, an owner of the coffee lounge calls to say that she had lost the four $20 bills.

6:19 p.m. Police respond to a report of a suspected burglary at a house on Spruce Street, where a witness saw a man and a woman remove a screen and enter the house. Police enter through the window and find two teenagers hiding in a second-floor bedroom closet. The male says it was his grandmother's house and that he had lost the key. Grandmother says that she doesn't want her grandson in the house when she is not there but does not file charges.

8:12 p.m. Police respond to a domestic dispute call, talk to the husband and wife and verify that there was no physical abuse.
