To the Editor,
The Board of Trustees wishes to thank the members of the community who visited Sands Ring Homestead Museum during our Open House on May 16th. It was gratifying to greet so many new and returning visitors, parents of our present and past students, exhibiting artists, and members of the Sands Family. We would also like to thank the Greater Cornwall Chamber of Commerce for once again choosing us as the reception site for their second annual Greater Cornwall Art Walk.
Sands Ring Homestead Museum, built in 1760, is one of the oldest Dutch colonials in the Hudson Valley. Being nearly 250 years old, the needs of the Homestead are many.
We invite interested individuals to join our non-profit organization, Friends of Sands Ring Homestead Museum and help us sustain this treasure. Information about membership, our programs including our Colonial Summer Workshops for Kids, and our events, can be found on our website: www.sandsring.org, or contact us at [email protected].
Sincerely,
Sally A. Stanley
President, Friends of Sands Ring Homestead Museum
