Shortly after midnight, police provide medical assistance to ambulance and fire for a 51-year-old female experiencing breathing difficulties on WIllis Avenue.
At 6:08 a.m., police investigate report that a chair was removed from the porch at 269 Hudson. Chair located on neighbor's property.
At 9:21 p.m., police question four Hispanic males at the DB Mart who looked lost. Men were working with the Fireman's Fair and were looking for a pay phone.
Monday, July 31
At 3:53 a.m., police investigate report that a car was left with it engine running on Hudson Street. Driver emerged from an apartment and returned to car.
At 5:53 a.m., police assist female locked out of her Duncan Avenue home.
At 6:30 p.m., police respond to a report of mischief at the Pisces restaurant on Hudson Street where the owner said the exhaust fan had been removed, raising concern about a possible break-in. Officer spoke with neighbor who heard the metal fan fall earlier.
At 6:67 p.m., police advise group of juveniles to move along after spotted entering roadway in front of traffic on Hudson Street.
At 7:39 p.m., a group of juveniles was told to move along from the steps of 359 Hudson Street.
At 8:27 p.m., police investigate a report of noise on Shore Road without finding anything.
At 9:21 p.m., police ticketed a car for parking without a permit at the riverfront park.
At 9:44 p.m., police tell a group of juveniles to move along from the steps of 359 Hudson Street.
At 9:56 p.m., police respond to an alarm at Village Pizza on Hudson Street, which appeared secure.
At 10:15 p.m., police assisted town police to investigate a report of three intoxicated young females walking on Boulevard. No one was found.
At 10:26 p.m., police investigated a report of fireworks discharged on Wood Ave. No evidence found.
Tuesday, August 1
At 8:45 a.m. police escort a tractor/trailor to a construction site on Grandview Avenue.
At 2:15 p.m., police told a group of juveniles at the bandstand with skateboards to leave and pick up the trash.
At 4:46 p.m., police advised driver of a car parked facing the traffic to turn it around.
At 7:26 p.m., police take a report of a suspicious visitor to a residence on Holt Lane.
At 8:16 p.m., police ticket a car parked without a permit at the riverfront.
At 8:37 p.m., police intervene in a dispute about money between two women on Hudson Street.
Wednesday, August 2
At 8:50 a.m., police assist resident to open locked car on Hudson Street.
At 7:50 p.m., police investigated a report from DB Mart that a woman left after paying on $10 of $30 owed for gas. Woman was contacted and balance
paid.
At 9:32 p.m., police told a group of juveniles at Cumberland Farms to move along.
At 10:28 p.m., police investigate a report of juveniles in the roadway on Lafayette Street. Noone found.
Thursday, August 3
At 2:24 a.m., police investigate a report of an intoxicated man who told his girlfriend that he was down by the river and was going to kill himself. Police didn't locate anyone in the vicinity.
At 11:47 a.m. police investigate a report that a man's car on Idlewild Avenue was dented by nearby vehicle.
At 2:10 p.m., police investigate a dispute between tenants of a residence on Shore Road about who had legal right to occupy property. Police advise tenants that dispute is a civil, not criminal, matter.
At 3:44 p.m., police tell a group of juveniles to move along from bandstand.
At 4:55 p.m., police tell a group of juveniles to move along from Academy Avenue.
At 5:12 p.m., police respond to report of a fire at a residence on Duncan Avenue that turned out to be a barbeque.
At 11:25 p.m., police advise operators to move cars illegally parked in front of a fire hydrant on Lafayette Street.
Friday, August 4
At 8:21 a.m. and 10:36 a.m., police investigate report of a man with a plastic trash bag walking through yards of residences on Hudson St. and Taft Place. Suspect was advised.
At 5:20 p.m., police assist town police with trafffic following a serious accident at Main Street and Route 218.
At 5:49 p.m., police investigate report on a downed tree on electrical wires on Deer Hill Road.
At 8:15 p.m., police take a report from a resident of Duncan Avenue regarding an apparently fraudulent use of her credit card.
At 9:22 p.m., police issue a ticket for parking without a permit at the riverfront.
Saturday, August 5
At 7:45 a.m., police respond to a civil matter between a patron and clerk at Cumberland Farms regarding payment for fuel not pumped.
At 8:19 a.m., police assist town police to direct traffic following a trafffic accident on Main Street.
At 9:51 a.m., police respond to report of a rapid racoon on Duncan Avenue. Animal not located.
At 10:26 a.m., police respond to report from Child Protection Service of a neglected toddler on Shore Road. No evidence of neglect found at the residence and mother said the report was retaliation for an earlier tenant dispute.
Shortly after 11:00 a.m., police issue two tickets to cars parked without a permit at the riverfront and to a third car parked illegally.
At 2:22 p.m., police ticket two cars parked without a permit at the riverfront.
At 8:08 p.m., police respond to a complaint of a loud party on Duncan Avenue.
Between 7:50 p.m. and 9:00 p.m., police issue six speeding tickets to drivers on Route 9W.
At 9:20 p.m., police issue tickets to Raul Marino, 41, of Cornwall, for driving with a suspended license and for broken tail light.
At 10:17 p.m., police tell a group of juveniles at Cumberland Farms to move along.
