6:30 a.m. Police issue a ticket for an expired inspection to a driver on Hudson Street.
6:32 a.m. Police issue a traffic ticket to a driver on Rout 9W.
7:32 a.m. Police issue two tickets to a driver on Route 9W, including one ticket for driving with an expired license.
8:15 a.m. Police issue a traffic ticket to a driver on Angola Road for failure to wear a seat belt.
9:36 a.m. Police issue two traffic tickets to a driver on Route 32.
11:09 a.m. Police issue a ticket for speeding to a driver on Route 32.
12:45 p.m. Police issue a ticket for speeding to a driver on Mill Street.
12:57 p.m. Police respond to a mother-daughter domestic dispute.
1:21 p.m. Police issue a traffic ticket for speeding on Angola Road.
2:33 p.m. Police investigate a report of the side view mirrors missing from a vehicle parked on Main Street.
2:45 p.m. Police arrest a 17-year-old male who turned himself in on a bench warrant.

Tuesday, April 28
7:08 a.m. Police charge 44-year-old Sean McCarthy, of Cornwall, with driving with a suspended license and with failure to wear to a seat belt after a traffic stop on Route 9W.
7:51 a.m. Police issue a traffic ticket to a driver on Route 9W.
8:29 a.m. Police issue a traffic ticket to a driver on Clinton St.
9:52-10:06 a.m. Police issue traffic tickets to three drivers on Quaker Avenue.
11:00 a.m. Police issue a ticket to a driver for inadequate brake lights.
12:30 p.m. Police charge an unidentified subject from Newburgh with criminal mischief in the fourth degree and conspiracy in the sixth degree, both misdemeanors, for allegedly damaging a vehicle in March.
12:56 a.m. Police issue a ticket to a driver for no seatbelt.
1:55 p.m. Police investigate a report of a bag with tools and medicines that was left on a porch on Main Street overnight that is now missing.
1:00 p.m. Police issue a traffic ticket to a driver for inadequate brake lights.
3:23 p.m. Police assist town of Highlands police with a fire on Route 9W.
10:25 p.m. Police charge 22-year-old Holly Cosgrove, of Fort Montgomery, with criminal contempt in the second degree after she allegedly made phone contact with a person who has an active order of protection against her that prohibits such conduct.
Wednesday, April 29
12:24 p.m. Police issue a ticket to a driver with an expired inspection sticker on Route 32.
9:05 p.m. Police issue a traffic ticket to a driver on Route 32.
10:28 p.m. Police issue a traffic ticket to a driver on Route 32.

12:04 p.m. Police investigate an apparent arson at 45 Quaker Avenue. (see full story)
6:01 a.m. Police respond to a deer vs motor vehicle accident on Route 9W.
9:31 a.m. Police respond to a report of a suicidal subject who had taken large dose of medications and is transported to the hospital by Covac.
7:19 p.m. Police respond to a domestic father-daughter domestic dispute.
7:05 p.m. Police intervene to resolve a phone harassment complaint.
Friday, May 1
7:22 a.m. Police respond to a motor vehicle accident on Route 9W involving two cars.
1:04 p.m. Police charge Anthony John Gosticha, 27, of Matamoras, Pa., with unlawful possession of marijuana after he was stopped for an inadequate tail light on Quaker Avenue. He was also ticketed for the equipment violation.
1:48 p.m. Police ticket a driver for driving 58 mph in a 40 mph zone on Angola Road.
2:59 p.m. Police respond to a report of a vehicle struck and damaged while parked on Main Street.
3:41 p.m. Police charge 28-year-old Leandro Ferreira, of Danbury, CT., with driving with a license that had been suspended in New York and with having a loud exhaust.
4:03 p.m. Police respond to two-car motor vehicle accident with no injuries on Route 9W.
7:19 p.m. Police respond to a report of two males having a verbal argument on Highland Avenue and advise subjects.
