Thursday, April 30
6:35 p.m. Police respond to a hit-and-run accident on Hudson Street in which a parked vehicle was damaged by another vehicle apparently parked in front of it that left the scene. The driver of the damaged car said a white Ford Expedition had been parked in front of her.
11:14 p.m. Police respond to a report of a woman yelling for help.
Friday, May 1
1:51 p.m. Police respond to a complaint of loud music and advise subjects to lower the volume.
Saturday, May 2
2:03 p.m. Police respond to a report of a 37-year-old female on Hudson St. who appeared to be intoxicated, repeatedly walking into a building and using it to hold herself up. Subject is checked out by Covac, found to have no problems, and advised.
6:39 p.m. Police issue a ticket on Route 218 to a 29-year-old female from New Windsor.
6:45 p.m. Police move along a group of juveniles loitering at the elementary school.
7:12 p.m. Police issue a ticket on Route 218 to a 26-year-old male from Modena.
7:29 p.m. Police issue a ticket on Route 218 to an 18-year-old male from Cornwall.
7:48 p.m. Police issue a ticket on Hudson Street to a 41-year-old male from N. Arlington.
8:04 p.m. Police charge 42-year-old Thomas Babcock, of Cornwall, with a first offense DWI after he was pulled over for an expired registration and police detected alcohol on his breath. He was found to have a blood alcohol content of .20%. The legal limit is .08%.
9:05 p.m. Police assist town police with a reported assault on Harris Lane, which was under control on arrival.
