8:10 p.m. Police issue a summons to a Stephanie Sabolik, 18, of Cornwall, for driving a car with a suspended registration.
Friday, January 5
12:27 a.m. Police assist town police on a 911 call on Angola Road where a man was on the front porch with weapons in his vicinity. Town police secured man while the village officer unloaded two handguns.
8:56 a.m. Police arrest Wesley Patterson, 23, of Newburgh, for violating a temporary order of protection taken out by a village resident.
10:15 p.m. Police issue a summons to Jonathan Cheng, 18, of Cornwall, for an equipment violation and for violating restrictions on his drivers license.
11:45 p.m. A resident reports that she got a threatening phone call from a man warning her to stop stealing his newspapers or he would do something.
Saturday, January 6
2:55 a.m. Police assist town police and assist man who stabbed himself on Willow Avenue. Subject transported to hospital by COVAC.
3:25 a.m. Police assist town police in responding to noise complaint on Broadway in Cornwall and advise subjects to take the party inside.
8:30 a.m. Police respond to a report of wires down on Hudson Street and owner removes wires.
10:08 a.m. Police observe debris blocking roadway at Mountain and Partridge roads and remove it.
12:20 p.m. Police issue a parking ticket to a car blocking the Wellness Center driveway on Hudson Street and have car towed.
8:13 p.m. Police arrest James Dennis, 26, of Cornwall, for driving with a suspended license and issue him a ticket for driving a vehicle with a tinted side window.
9:39 p.m. Police arrest Donald Doherty, 18, of Newburgh, for possession of marijuana in the village municipal parking lot.
