Friday, April 10
6:37-8:30 p.m. Police issue five traffic tickets to vehicles on Route 32.
10:24 p.m. Police investigate graffiti in the bathroom at town park.
Saturday, April 11
7:31 a.m. Police issue a ticket for driving 74 mph in a 55 mph zone on Route 32.
9:58 a.m. Police investigate a report of a mailbox on Mailler Avenue that had been pulled from the ground overnight, possibly by a dump truck.
12:40 p.m. Police charge a 16-year-old Cornwall-on-Hudson male with reckless endangerment in the second degree after he drove his motor vehicle away while a female subject who was partially inside of the vehicle was arguing with a passenger.
4:00 p.m. Police arrest a 39-year-old Cornwall man after a domestic dispute with his girlfriend. The subject is alleged to have choked her, prevented her from calling the police and damaged a phone. The man was charged with assault in the third degree, unlawful imprisonment in the first degree, coercion, a class D felony, and criminal mischief in the fourth degree.
5:50 p.m. Police respond to a minor motor vehicle accident without injuries on Mailler Avenue.
8:44 p.m. Police charge 35-year-old Michael Westervelt, of Monroe, with driving with a suspended license, speeding and an equipment violation after he was stopped on Route 94. The vehicle’s passenger, 20-year-old Kevin Flower, of Monroe, was found to be in possession of a glass pipe with cocaine residue and police charge him with unlawful possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree.
8:20 p.m. Police respond to Cornwall hospital for a disorderly patient.
10:35 p.m. Police issue two traffic tickets to drivers on Route 32.
Sunday, April 12
2:29 a.m. Police issue a ticket for driving 70 mph in a 55 mph zone on Route 9W.
8:37 p.m. Police impound a vehicle that had a suspended registration on Route 9W and charge the driver, 23-year-old Eric Hill of West Point.
11:43 p.m. Police respond to a report of a 17-year-old female who is missing. Child is located and returns home.
Monday, April 13
1:10 a.m. Police observe a vehicle parked at Lee Road school and three subjects sitting on a bench. A check reveals the driver had a restricted DJ license and he is advised to call his parents to pick up the vehicle. The two females are given a courtesy ride home.
7:40 a.m. Police respond to a motor vehicle accident with property damage.
8:08 a.m. Police respond to a report of a ladder missing from a playground set at Lee Road school that is later located behind the school. Police observe muddy foot prints that indicate the ladder was used to gain access to the roof but no damage is seen.
11:12 a.m. Police respond to a domestic dispute between a brother and sister.
3:50 p.m. Police issue a traffic ticket to a driver on Route 32.
4:11 p.m. Police issue a traffic ticket to a driver on Route 94.
6:05 p.m. Police issue three tickets to a driver on Mill Street.
7:35 p.m. Police issue a traffic ticket to a driver on Route 9W.
8:39 p.m. Police respond to a report of an intoxicated male en route to Cornwall Plaza and charge 54-year-old Arthur Maher, of New Windsor, with aggravated DWI after he was found to have a blood alcohol level greater than .18 percent. He is also charged with possession of a controlled substance, vicodin, a misdemeanor.
