9:55 a.m. Police assist the town police with a report of a fight in progress. Patrol observed two males talking on the sidewalk and one of the males was highly intoxicated. Subjects were separated until town of Cornwall police arrived.
Monday, January 22
12:05 a.m. Police observed an occupied vehicle parked by the riverfront. Occupants said they were looking at the view and talking. Police advised them that the park is closed at dusk and they complied.
8:01 p.m. Police arrest Dianne Sabolik, 35, of Cornwall-on-Hudson on an outstanding warrant from the village police department for passing bad checks at Village Pizza.
11:40 p.m. Police respond to a report of subjects throwing firecrackers out of a vehicle on Academy Avenue and found no one when they checked out the area.
Tuesday, January 23
4:09 p.m. Police respond to a report of a vehicle off the roadway on Route 218 and find the vehicle on the other side of (Storm King) mountain. A town unit arrived and the village officer directed traffic.
Wednesday, January 24
7:54 a.m. Police assist Cornwall town police with a six-car motor vehicle accident on Route 9W south.
4:32 p.m. Police stop a vehicle on Academy Avenue and find the driver’s license had been suspended. A subject with a valid license came to the scene and drove the vehicle away.
5:54 p.m. Police respond to a report of a motor vehicle vs. deer accident on Weeks Avenue. Minor damage to the vehicle and deer put down with two shots.
