Friday, April 3
1:30 p.m.  Police impound a vehicle and ticket its driver, 35-year-old Frances Medina, of Newburgh, for driving with a suspended license on Route 32.

2:48 p.m.  Police respond to a domestic dispute involving criminal mischief.

3:25 p.m.  Police take a report of a person receiving harassing phone calls.

5:46 p.m.  Police respond to the Cornwall Veterinary Hospital to pick up a dog that was found loose on Route 32 and transport it to Flannery Animal Hospital.  Owner eventually reclaims the animal.

7:17 p.m.  Police impound a vehicle after stopping it on Route 32 as it swerved several times onto the shoulder.  Driver is ticketed for driving without a license.

8:40 p.m.  Police observe subjects in the hikers parking lot on Otterkill Road and confirm that the vehicle’s occupants had been smoking marijuana.  A search does not reveal any contraband but subjects are advised that it is unlawful to drive under the influence of drugs and are picked up by a friend.


Saturday, April 4
12:51 a.m.  Police respond to an alarm activated at Lee Road school and arrest a 16-year-old male from Cornwall for unlawful possession of marijuana after it was found in his pocket together with a glass pipe.

1:05 a.m.  Police respond to complaint of a noisy neighbor in an apartment building.

8:20 a.m.  Police charge 21-year-old Coy Travis Jackson, of Pine Bush, with driving with a suspended registration and with not having a proper license plate displayed.

10:48 a.m.  Police assist town of Highlands in stopping a vehicle connected to a reported domestic dispute.

4:15 p.m.  Police charge 20-year-old Timothy Bauernfiend, 20, of Monroe, with unlawful possession of marijuana after he was seen looking inside rental cars in the lot of Enterprise Rental Car and questioned by police.

5:54 p.m.  Police issue a ticket to the owner of a dog at large on Route 94.

7:28 p.m.  Police charge 22-year-old Justin Seaman, of Cornwall,  with unlawful possession of marijuana after a traffic stop on Willow Avenue.
The driver was also ticketed for speeding.

8:14 p.m.  Police respond to a domestic dispute involving a son and his mother.

8:52 p.m.  Police charge Victor Boggiano, 22, of Newburgh, with driving with a suspended license.


Sunday, April 5
12:45 a.m.  Police respond to a noise complaint in the area of Laurel Avenue and advise resident to keep the noise down.

3:20 a.m.  Police respond to a report of a vehicle on Alfred Street that had all its windows broken out.

8:16 a.m.  Police investigate a report of harassing phone calls.

8:41 a.m.  Police respond to a turkey vs. motor vehicle accident on Route 32.

9:14 a.m.  Police find an older male, brindle colored mixed-breed dog at the second pull-out on Route 218 and transport it to Flannery Animal Hospital.

10:23 a.m.  Police issue a ticket for driving 60 mph in a 40 mph zone on Angola Road.

10:52 a.m.  Police respond to a report of an egg thrown at a residence the evening before.  The owner of the home says he doesn’t know who is responsible but that he observed a male riding an ATV through the neighborhood two days earlier and stared at him and that also he was annoyed with children playing baseball in the cul-de-sac and the noise they made.

1:27 p.m.  Police take possession of a wallet found outside of Dream Dance on Main Street and return it to its owner.

2:45 p.m.  Police charge 21-year-old Holly Cosgrave with criminal mischief for picking up a bicycling and intentionally throwing it a door of a residence and damaging the door.

2:55 p.m.  Police issue a traffic ticket to a driver on Angola Road.

5:05 p.m.  Police take a report of a subject throwing rocks at the geese in Ring’s Pond.

5:19 p.m.  Police respond to a domestic dispute.

8:57 p.m.  Police issue a ticket for speeding on Route 32 and due to a computer maintenance issue, later determine that the driver had a suspended license and send the driver a summons by mail for aggravated unlicensed driving.


Monday, April 6
1:19 a.m.  Police respond to a deer vs motor vehicle accident on Quaker Avenue and dispatch the injured animal.

5:40 a.m.  Police respond to a report of two subjects lighting papers on fire in a pot outside a business on Main Street.  Subject is strongly advised.

8:26 a.m.  Police respond to a motor vehicle accident with no injuries on Angola Road.

9:42 a.m.  Police investigate a report of a fence damaged overnight at a property on Clinton Street.

11:39 a.m.  Police respond to a hit-and-run accident with property damage to a vehicle parked on Main Street.

6:24 p.m.  Police issue a traffic ticket to a vehicle on Route 32.


Tuesday, April 7
5:34 a.m.  Police respond to assist a garbage truck stuck in the mud on Route 9W.

4:29 p.m.  Police issue three tickets to the driver of a vehicle stopped on Route 32.

6:35 p.m.  Police issue three tickets on Route 9W to the driver of a vehicle who did not have a license and impound the vehicle.

9:02 p.m.  Police charge an 18-year-old male from Cornwall-on-Hudson with driving while ability is impaired by drugs and with failure to signal, passing in a no-passing zone and not wearing a seat belt.


Wednesday, April 8
9:45 a.m.  Police issue a traffic ticket to a vehicle on Angola Road.

10:25 a.m.  Police issue a traffic ticket for speeding on Angola Road.

11:05 a.m.  Police assist a motorist who struck a tree branch on Orrs Mills Road.

12:19 p.m.  Police respond to a motor vehicle accident on Main Street.

3:17 p.m.  Police issue a traffic ticket on Route 32.

4:15 p.m.  Police issue a ticket for speeding on Route 32.

4:38 p.m.  Police charge 37-year-old Cesar Cordova, of Cornwall, with driving with a suspended registration on Route 9W.

11:47 p.m.  Police respond to a motor vehicle accident on Route 32 in which several mailboxes were damaged and the occupants were taken to Cornwall hospital.

11:48 p.m.  Police respond to a report of juveniles spray painting the rocks on Route 218 but canvas of area is negative.


Thursday, April 9
5:50 a.m.  Police respond to a report from a driver whose rear window of his vehicle was blown out while driving on Orrs Mills Road for no apparent reason.

6:49 a.m. Police issue a ticket for speeding on Route 32.

1:10 p.m.  Police respond to a domestic dispute in the parking lot of Cornwall Plaza.

1:46 p.m.  Police pick up a stray dog and transport it to Flannery Animal Hospital.

5:08 p.m.  Police respond to a domestic dispute.

8:31 p.m.  Police respond to a report of an injured deer on the roadway on Mine Hill Road and dispatch the animal.

8:55 p.m.  Police investigate a report of an unknown person ringing a doorbell of a residence two nights in a row.
