Monday, March 30
12:19 a.m.  Police investigate a report of a woman who left her residence and her boyfriend was concerned about her wellbeing due to a mental illness.  Woman later returns home.

11:35 a.m. Police issue two tickets to a driver, one for driving 41 mph in a 30 mph zone on Jackson Avenue and one for failing to wear a seat belt.

1:47 p.m.  Police respond to a single-vehicle motor vehicle accident in which the driver drove into a ditch on Route 32 after he said he fell asleep on his way home from work.

4:02 p.m.  Police issue a ticket for a traffic violation on Route 32.

4:12 p.m.  Police issue a ticket for a traffic violation on Route 32.

6:51 p.m.  Police issue a ticket for a traffic violation on Route 9W.

7:06 p.m.  Police respond to Dunkin Donuts in Cornwall Plaza for a report of man panhandling and advise him to stop harassing people.

7:13 p.m.  Police respond to a deer vs. motor vehicle accident on Angola Road and dispatch the injured animal.


Tuesday, March 31
10:25 a.m.  Police respond to a minor motor vehicle accident that occurred when a delivery truck hit a parked vehicle on Main Street.

10:39 a.m.  Police respond to a report of a severely injured rabbit on the roadside on Jackson Avenue and dispatch it.

4:20 p.m.  Police take a report regarding harassing phone calls received by a woman.

4:27 p.m.  Police take a report of identity theft.

10:51 p.m.  Police issue a traffic ticket on Route 300.

11:03 p.m.  Police issue a traffic ticket on Route 32.

Wednesday, April 1
8:06 a.m.  Police give a stranded citizen a courtesy ride home to Homeland Avenue.

8:40 a.m.  Police issue a ticket to a driver for driving 60 mph in a 40 mph zone on Route 94.

10:55 a.m.  Police investigate a report from a man who said someone purchased a vehicle using his name.

5:20 p.m.  Police respond to City of Newburgh police to pick up 28-year-old Shamar Coston, of Newburgh, who is wanted on a bench warrant in Cornwall.

10:58 p.m.  Police issue a traffic ticket to a driver on Route 9W.

11:33-47 p.m.  Police issue traffic tickets to two drivers on Route 32.


Thursday, April 2
12:08 a.m.  Police charge 45-year-old Patricia Lang, of New Windsor, with driving with a suspended license and for failing to stop at a stop sign at Route 32 and Halloran Road.

1:56 a.m.  Police issue a traffic ticket to a vehicle on Route 32.

8:47 a.m.  Police respond to a report of an injured opossum on Jaeger Drive and dispatch the animal.

10:22 a.m.  Police issue a ticket to a driver for failing to stop at a red light on Route 32.

3:02 p.m.  Police charge 46-year-old Sherry Clark, of Cornwall, with aggravated driving while intoxicated after she is involved in a two-vehicle accident at Maple Street and Laurel Avenue.  She is found to have a blood alcohol content of .18%.

9:28 p.m.  Police issue a traffic ticket to a driver on Route 32.

11:41 p.m.  Police issue a traffic ticket to a driver on Quaker Avenue.
