8:27 p.m. Police investigate a report of a car stopping on Wood Avenue two nights in a row and doing “burn outs,” and that the car was doing it at that moment. No vehicle found.
11:51 p.m. Police issue a summons for an expired vehicle registration to Brian Ferry, 26, of New Windsor.
January 30
8:30 p.m. Police receive a report of criminal mischief from a homeowner on Idlewild Park Drive who reported that she was in her living room at approximately 1 a.m. the previous night when she heard a loud bang coming from the rear. She looked outside and did not observe anyone in the area. Officer observes what appears to be a four-inch dent from an unknown object to the rear siding.
January 31
2:55 a.m. Police assist town police for a report of a motor vehicle accident, unoccupied car vs pole on Lee Road. Subject (car owner) located on Mailer and Lee Road, interviewed and issued tickets.
10:48 p.m. Police take a report of a vehicle accident with property damage on Bayview Terrace. Driver insisted on driving the vehicle home.
