Monday, March 23
9:41 a.m. Police issue a traffic ticket to a driver on Route 9W.

11:02 p.m. Police issue a traffic ticket to a driver on Route 9W.

2:19 p.m. Police take into storage a set of keys on a round leather rung found on Hazen Street.

4:27 p.m. Police issue a ticket for an inadequate muffler and a ticket for inadequate brake lamps to a driver on Route 9W.

9:19 p.m. Police take a report of a missing 18-year-old female who is later located.


Tuesday, March 24
11:25 a.m. Police respond to a motor vehicle accident in which a driver struck a metal post that was protruding into the roadway on Route 9W.

2:51 p.m. Police charge 27-year-old Yechiel Hoffman, of Spring Valley, with reckless driving and speeding after he was observed driving 67 mph in a 30 mph zone on Mill Street.

3:00 p.m. Police respond to a report of a dangerous dog that was not kept on a short enough leash.

4:15 p.m. Police take a report of a vehicle that was keyed during the night as it was parked on Brewster Road.

4:47 p.m. Police respond to a report of a drive off from an agency that came back to an address in Cornwall where the suspect is located and escorted back to the business.

6:31 p.m. Police respond to a report from a subject who said his underage daughter bought a bag of chocolates that contain more than 1/2 of 1% alcohol from a business in Cornwall Plaza, which is contacted and the produced removed from the shelf.


Wednesday, March 25
11:07 a.m. Police issue a ticket for driving 79 mph in a 55 mph zone on Route 32.

12:26 p.m. Police take a report of a blue Ipod Nano taken from a girl’s gym bag during track practice at the high school on Monday.

12:59 p.m. Police issue a ticket to a driver for failing to signal change of lanes on Route 32.
