To The Editor:
Cornwall Public Library is one of the most valued community centers in our area. It is a place where patrons and visitors of all ages enjoy books, programs, audio materials, computers and customer service of the highest quality. As a trustee for the past 5 years, it has been a true pleasure to be a part of such a joyous place.
We have a wonderful opportunity for individuals within our school district to become candidates for Library Trustee. As a trustee, you will make an important contribution to your library and community. Our trustees serve a 5-year term with a position becoming available on July 1, 2009. I encourage you to pick up a petition, gather 25 signatures, and put your name in the running for this very important role.
Voting for the trustee position will take place on April 21, 2009, the day of the library budget vote.
