Thursday, March 5
6:16 a.m. Police issue a ticket for driving 42 mph in a 30 mph zone on Hudson Street to a 55-year-old male from Ozone Park.
6:54 a.m. Police issue a ticket for driving 42 mph in a 30 mph zone of Maple Avenue Extension to a 35-year-old male from New Windsor.
10:18 a.m. Police respond to a medical call on Hudson Street and Covac transports patient to the hospital.
11:10 a.m. Police respond to a minor motor vehicle accident involving two vehicles on Hudson Street.
11:18 a.m. Police charge 43-year-old Brian Dietz, of Vails Gate, with driving with a suspended license on Academy Avenue.
11:49 a.m. Police take a report of damage done to a vehicle while the driver was enroute to work on Route 218.
Friday, March 6
10:55 a.m. Police issue a ticket for driving 38 mph in a 20 mph zone on Hudson Street to a 23-year-old male from Mountainville.
2:08 p.m. Police issue a traffic ticket on River Avenue to a 21-year-old female driver from New Windsor.
6:18 p.m. Police take a report of a credit card that had been stolen from the mail and used in grocery stores in Maryland.
Saturday, March 7
7:05 a.m. Police take possession of two bicycles that had been found in the back of a residence on Hudson Street.
6:34 p.m. Police charge 44-year-old Michael Wojehowski, of Cornwall, with DWI after he was observed on Hudson Street driving erratically. The suspect is tested and found to have a .17% blood alcohol level. The legal limit is .08%.
