To the Editor:
I'd like to start out thanking my fellow citizens that have chosen to run in this election. It may seem naive to some, but at this level of politics I truly believe that people run for office with all the best intentions. They care about the community they live in, perhaps they see problems they feel they can help solve, maybe they have a vision for what this village could be or maybe they love the way the village is now and want to keep it that way. I think the intentions come from the heart. I appreciate all the candidates willingness to provide such a service to the community.
In this day and age it is very important for a municipality like the Village of Cornwall-on-Hudson to have various operational goals and a master plan. But it is equally critical that the governing board have the ability to carry out those goals and get the job done.
Peter Neuman, Doug Vatter and Mark Edsall represent a board that will get things accomplished. Their life experiences and career choices give each one of them a unique resume that will be incredibly useful to the Village board. I personally know each one of these gentlemen. All three of them are goal orientated. All three of them are personally successful. They have the tools with in them to bring success to our village. They are fair and open minded and care about the Village in which they call home.
I whole heartedly endorse Mr. Neuman, Mr. Vatter and Mr. Edsall in this up coming election. I would ask my fellow community members to seriously consider voting for these men. There is much work to be done in the Village and these men will get the job done!

I agree those three candidates are excellant choices and would work well together. I believe work would get accomplished with this lineup and not sit on someones desk for 2 years.
Thank You also for agreeing with me that our former Mayor for 26 years has been unfairly beatup enough. I realize you can't please all but its mighty easy for some people to forget all the good things Mayor Moulton did. Dedicating 26 years to the village I can only commend and thank him.

Excellent letter.
Each individual has so much to bring to the table and combined I feel they will truly accomplish a great deal while moving Cornwall on Hudson forward in a positive direction.
