To the Editor:
Politicians, Neighbors and the View Preservation Law
What is the difference between a good and bad Politician verses being a good and bad neighbor?
Not much.
A good neighbor has more on his mind than his own personal interests and profits.
A good neighbor would not build a fence or cut down a tree without a conversation with those who would be directly affected by the decision.
A good neighbor has the best interest of the community with a careful eye on harmful activities in the neighborhood.
Joe Gross has been a good neighbor long before he was a good politician.
If we had more politicians who were more like Joe Gross and less interested in direct conflict of interest business arrangements generating personal profit off of our tax dollars, this world would be a better place.
So, all you good neighbors (you know who you are), and all you bad neighbors (ALL KNOW WHO YOU ARE!), vote for the good politician who has all our best interests at heart, not just those who have the big bucks. After all, we all know where the bad politicians got the big bucks in the first place!
The View Preservation Law is a prime example of a bad neighbor and a bad politician.
The View Preservation Law was a scam to get one person a better view and the local realtor better sales.
There are still members on the board who approved this offense and continue to offend members of the community.
Please keep that in mind at the voting booth.
Let’s keep our Mayor a neighbor.
