Friday, February 20
7:02 a.m. Police respond to a deer vs. motor vehicle accident on Route 94.
7:25 a.m. Police issue a ticket to a driving going 57 mph in a 40 mph zone on Rout 32.
10:57 a.m. Police issue a ticket to the driver of a vehicle with an expired inspection sticker on Route 32.
11:03 a.m. Police issue a ticket on Orrs Mills Road for a vehicle driving 66 mph in a 45 mph zone.
1:08 p.m. Police issue a ticket on Taylor Road to a vehicle with an expired inspection sticker.
1:56 p.m. Police issue a ticket on Route 32 to a vehicle with an expired inspection sticker,
5:10 p.m. Police issue a ticket on Rout 94 to a vehicle with an expired inspection sticker.
6:01 p.m. Police take a report of a person receiving threatening phone calls on his cell phone.
7:24 p.m. Police respond to a deer vs. motor vehicle accident on Route 94.
Saturday, February 21
3:36 p.m. Police issue a traffic ticket to a driver on Route 32.
3:55 p.m. Police issue a ticket for driving 58 mph in a 40 mph zone on Route 32,
9:12 p.m. Police respond to Brookside Apartment for a report of someone writing on the windshields of two vehicles in the parking lot stating that there were problems with the way the vehicles were parked.
9:50 p.m. Police take a report of a 17-year-old male who left his parent’s residence without permission.
Sunday, February 22
12:08 a.m. Police respond to a report of three intoxicated males fighting and arrest James Qualey, 32, of Newburgh, on a bench warrant.
2:08 a.m. Police respond to a report of a suspicious vehicle parked near Clinton Street and find the driver with his head leaning forward and his seatbelt on. Two officers attempt to wake the driver by shaking and yelling to him but there is no response. A bungee type of string is attached to the driver’s hands, keeping his hands from any movement and wrapped around the back of the passenger seat. COVAC transports the man to the hospital where police smell the odor of marijuana in his jacket, search him and find a bag of green leafy substance. Police then charge the man, 23-year-old Joseph Medina, of Salisbury Mills, with unlawful possession of marijuana.
5:02 a.m. Police respond to a report from a woman who said her son appeared to be in an altered state and snuck in the bedroom window. The son is located and says his friends snuck in through the bedroom window after attending a party. Son appeared normal.
7:59 a.m. Police issue a ticket to a driver traveling 58 mph in a 40 mph zone on Route 94.
8:55 a.m. Police assist Nwburgh police and pick up a male subject at the Cornwall hospital for a mental evaluation is under a deportation order.
12:06 p.m. Police investigate a report of a woman who says she is receiving harassing phone calls on her cell phone.
12:45 p.m. Police take a report of a golden retriever dog lost in the vicinity of Taylor Road and the Schunnemunk Trail.
8:26 p.m. Police issue a traffic ticket to a vehicle on Route 32.
10:53 p.m. Police charge a driver with driving with a suspended license on Orrs Mills Road.
