Monday, February 9
2:21 p.m. Police respond to a minor motor vehicle accident at Route 32 and Quaker Avenue.
2:21 p.m. Police dog control officer finds a loose dog on Academy Avenue and takes it to the SPCA.
3:05 p.m. Police issue a summons for speeding on Route 32.
3:38 p.m. Police issue a summons for an expired inspection sticker.
3:57 p.m. Police charge 33-year-old Everol Mathison, of Brooklyn, with driving with a suspended revoked registration and an expired inspection sticker.
4:16 p.m. Police issue a summons for an expired inspection sticker.
8:33 p.m. Police respond to a deer vs. motor vehicle on Route 94.
Tuesday, February 10
1:06 a.m. Police issue a summons to a driver on Route 32.
2:48 p.m. Police charge Jessica Rostran, 22, of Newburgh, with driving with a suspended license and with speeding on Route 32.
3:52 p.m. Police charge 46-year-old Sherry Clark, of Cornwall, with driving while intoxicated after the car she was driving left the roadway on Mill Street and went through a fence.
7:26 p.m. Police assist driver whose’s vehicle had gone off the road and into a ditch on the ramp of Route 218.
Wednesday, February 11
5:03 p.m. Police respond to a complaint of a disorderly adult who damaged property at a rental property.
10:47 – 11:40 p.m. Police issue five summonses to drivers on Route 9W, Willow Avenue, Main Street, Quaker Avenue and Route 32.
Thursday, February 12
12:33 a.m. Police respond to a complaint of disorderly adults involved in a property dispute.
7:27 a.m. Police respond to a report of a deer in the roadway on Orrs Mills Road.
7:39 a.m. Police respond to a report of a stonewall that slid onto the roadway on Taylor Road.
7:56 a.m. Police handle traffic while DOT removes a tree across the roadway on Route 32.
8:24 a.m. Police respond to a minor traffic accident in which a car hit a sign at Mill and Howard Streets.
9:32 a.m. Police respond to a report of a tree across the roadway on Angola Road.
12:27 p.m. Police assist with traffic control at scene of tree limb on power lines on Jackson Avenue.
7:58 p.m. Police respond to Cornwall Plaza for a report of a several juveniles in the parking lot, one holding a knife in each hand. Knives turned out to be plastic pirate’s knives purchased at the Dollar Store.
10:40 p.m. Police issue a summons for a no/inadequate headlight to a driver on Route 32.
10:49 p.m. Police issue a summons for no plate light to a driver on Route 32.
Friday, February 13
12:53 a.m. Police issue a traffic summons on Route 32.
7:25 a.m. Police issue a summons for driving 62 mph in a 45 mph zone on Route 9W.
9:29 a.m. Police respond to a motor vehicle accident with injuries on Interstate 87.
11:46 a.m. Police assist a vehicle stuck in the mud at the pull off at Quaker Avenue and Route 9W.
2:37 p.m. Police issue a summons for an expired inspection sticker to a vehicle on Quaker Avenue.
3:23 p.m. Police respond to a minor motor vehicle accident in the parking lot of Cornwall Plaza.
10:24 p.m. Police take a report of a deer vs. motor vehicle accident on Orr Hatch Drive.
Saturday, February 14
1:37 a.m. Police respond to a report of a fight outside Shamrock Tavern, transport one of the female subjects to the hospital for observation and charge her with harassment then charge a second female, Khrystana Donato, 19, of Phillipsport, with obstruction of governmental administration.
12:30 p.m. Police respond to a report of two suspicious males on Mineral Springs Road and charge 20-year-old Jeremy Ayala, of Monroe, with unlawful possession of marijuana.
4:26 p.m. Police issue a summons for an expired registration to a driver on Route 32.
10:12 p.m. Police take a report from a female who said she was receiving harassing text messages.
9:03 p.m. Police charge 31-year-old Donald Cowan with third degree assault, unlawful imprisonment and criminal contempt, a felony, after he allegedly choked and punched his girlfriend, dragged her into a vehicle and drove away.
Sunday, February 15
7:36 p.m. Police respond to a report of juveniles on the roof at the middle school but find no one on the roof when they arrive, only four skateboarders in the parking lot who deny being on the roof.
11:32-11:55 p.m. Police issue two traffic tickets on Route 32.
