Sunday, February 8
11:20 a.m. Police observe a dog loose without a leash or an owner on Dock Hill Road and contact the owner who retrieves the dog.
8:34 p.m. Police respond to a domestic dispute.
Monday, February 9
8:20 a.m. Police contact the owner of a vehicle parked illegally for a week on Maple Road and ask him to move it.
2:47 p.m. Police respond to a report of a highly intoxicated male urinating outside Tom’s Tavern and cannot verify incident.
5:00 p.m. Police see four vehicles parked at the turnaround on Bayview Avenue and observe empty marijuana “dime bags” and empty cigar wrappers in three of the vehicles. Officer returns later and speaks with eight individuals who are warned about driving.
7:27 p.m. Police respond to a domestic dispute.
Tuesday, February 10
9 a.m. Police charge 32-year-old Natasha Mercado with driving with a suspended license on Shore Road.
4:40 p.m. Police issue a ticket for an expired inspection sticker to a driver on Maple Road.
6:35 p.m. Police respond with fire and ambulance corp to assist 83-year-old injured in a fall.
Wednesday, February 11
5:11 Police respond to a report of a man shoveling snow from his driveway into the roadway on Shore Road and advise him to remove it, which he does.
Thursday, February 12
5:07 p.m. Police observe a woman on the ground in the parking lot of the Main Street Veterinary Clinic. She says she fell and needs help getting up. Covac is called in to assist.
7:58 p.m. Police assist town on a call regarding youths seen with knives in the Cornwall Plaza parking lot. Knives turn out to be plastic.
Friday, February 13
2:43 p.m. Police issue two traffic tickets to a 32-year-old male driver from Newburgh on Hudson Street.
8:36 p.m. Police issue a traffic ticket to a 17-year-old male driver from Cornwall on Hudson Street.
Saturday, February 14
8:40 p.m. Police respond with Covac to assist elderly man who had fallen.
10:07 p.m. Police respond to a deer vs. motor vehicle accident on Bayview Avenue.
10:10 p.m. Police respond to a complaint of a barking dog on Holt's Lane.
