Monday, January 19
1:13 a.m. Police ticket a car parked in the wrong direction and in violation of the snow ordinance on Oak Drive.

10:33 a.m. Police ticket a driver who did not have a valid driver’s license issued in the U.S. and also ticket him for failing to signal a turn from Route 32 onto Quaker Avenue.

3:08 p.m. Police issue a ticket for driving with a twice-suspended license and a ticket for an expired inspection sticker to a driver on Quaker Avenue.

5:14 p.m. Police ticket a driver for driving an unregistered, uninsured vehicle on Laurel Avenue.

9:45 p.m. Police issue a ticket to a driver on Route 94.


Tuesday, January 20
7:10 a.m. Police issue two traffic tickets to the driver of a vehicle on Route 32.

9:20 a.m. Police issue a traffic ticket to a driver on Main Street.

11:28 a.m. Police issue a traffic ticket to a driver on Quaker Avenue.

1:59 p.m. Police issue a traffic ticket to the driver of a vehicle on Harold Avenue.

4:02 p.m. Police respond to a motor vehicle accident with property damage involving a school bus on Hasbrouck Avenue and Boulevard.

5:30 p.m. Police respond to a motor vehicle accident on Quaker Avenue and Oak St. with injuries.


Wednesday, January 21
10:48 a.m. Police issue a traffic ticket to a driver on Mailler Avenue.


Thursday, January 22
2:15 a.m. Police issue a traffic ticket to a driver on Route 32.

9:32 a.m. Police respond to a motor vehicle accident in the parking lot of the hospital on Laurel Avenue.

9:54 a.m. Police issue a traffic ticket to a driver on Taylor Road.

10:13 a.m. Police issue two parking tickets to vehicles in the train station.

10:37 a.m.-11:10 a.m. Police issue three traffic tickets to drivers on Mount Airy Road and Angola Road.

11:25 a.m. Police investigate a report of a domestic disturbance involving unwanted, threatening phone calls.

11:56 a.m. Police investigate a report of a middle school student receiving harassing instant messages from another student and speak with the school principal, who will handle the incident.

4:56 p.m. Police issue a traffic ticket to an unlicensed driver on Route 32.

6:22 p.m. Police respond to a motor vehicle accident with injuries on Route 9W.

7:56 p.m. Police investigate a report of the larceny of items from a residence.


Friday, January 23
1:58 a.m. Police issue a ticket to a driver on Route 32 for failing to signal.

7:09 a.m. Police respond to a deer vs. motor vehicle accident on Angola Road.

7:44 a.m. Police respond to a complaint of a German Shepard dog lose on Route 32, find the animal and hand it over to Flannery Animal hospital.

2:21 p.m. Police issue a ticket for failure to stop at a stop sign at Harold Avenue and Mill Street.

2:48 p.m. Police take a report from a man whose daughter has received threats via text messages.

2:59 p.m. Police respond to a motor vehicle accident with no injuries on Route 9W exit ramp.

5:38 p.m. Police issue two tickets for expired inspection stickers on vehicles parked at the train station.
8:40 p.m. Police issue a ticket for driving 47 mph in a 30 mph zone on Route 32.

11:29 p.m. Police remove a dead deer from the roadway on Route 32.


Saturday, January 24
11:29 a.m. Police investigate a report of a suspicious person on Route 32.

12:00 noon Police respond to a motor vehicle accident with injuries on Route 9W.

2:38 p.m. Police investigate the theft of services by a drive off from the Hess Station on Route 32.

3:34 p.m. Police charge 50-year-old Mark Hall, of Highland Mills, with criminal mischief in the fourth degree after he was involved in a dispute over reckless driving.

6:30 p.m. Police respond to a deer vs. motor vehicle accident on Angola Road.


Sunday, January 25
10:55 a.m. Police issue a ticket to a driver driving 59 mph in a 45 mph zone on Route 9W.

11:22 a.m. Police issue a ticket to a driver for failing to stop at a stop sign on Mailler Avenue and Academy Avenue.

1:58 p.m. Police respond to a domestic dispute.

8:34 p.m. Police investigate a report of an item burning on the roadway on Route 9W near the Willow Avenue overpass and find a bottle that had been ignited and burned.
