Monday, December 29
12:46 p.m. Police respond to a motor vehicle accident that occurred when a delivery truck struck a parked car on Main Street.
1:29 p.m. Police respond to a complaint from a woman who says her neighbor’s dog comes on to her property and eats her chickens.
5:08 p.m. Police respond to a mentally disturbed subject.
6:04 p.m. Police respond to a complaint by a man who says he is receiving harassing phone calls from his mother. All parties advised.
6:04 p.m. Police refer a case of a person living in sub-standard conditions to Adult Protective Services.
9:32 p.m. Police respond to a fight reported by a man who says his girlfriend’s ex-boyfriend wanted to fight him. The ex-boyfriend is advised not to return.
10:02 p.m. Police assist Cornwall hospital staff with a mental health patient.
Tuesday, December 30
12:36 a.m. Police stop a vehicle for an equipment violation on Route 32 and ticket the driver for driving without a license.
2:25 a.m. Police charge 24-year-old Adrian Williams, of Newburgh, with driving with a suspended license and with speeding on Route 32.
4:28 a.m. Police find a white wooden reindeer with a red collar and clear lights attached on the Route 218 ramp.
5:43 a.m. Police charge 27-year-old Eduardo Rodriguez, of Monroe, with driving with a suspended license and with speeding on Route 94.
6:10 a.m. Police respond to a tree across the roadway on Deer Hill Road.
6:33 a.m. Police respond to a deer vs. motor vehicle accident on Angola Road and dispatch the injured animal.
11:23 a.m. Police charge 35-year-old Lori Goldstein with driving with a suspended license and a suspended vehicle registration on Quaker Avenue and is ticketed for failure to stop at a stop sign.
6:30 p.m. Police respond to a domestic dispute involving a husband and wife who both decline to press charges.
11:35 p.m. Police respond to a motor vehicle accident on Quaker Avenue and Route 32.
Wednesday, December 31
1:40 a.m. Police charge 21-year-old Ryan McArdle, of New Windsor, with unlawful possession of marijuana after police observe him in a parked vehicle in the municipal parking lot. The engine of the vehicle was running and the subject was laying down inside, asleep. Officer detects an odor of marijuana and subject admits to possessing four ounces of marijuana.
9:30 a.m. Police respond to a complaint about a neighbor plowing.
11:02 a.m. Police assist a car that had gone off the roadway on Route 94.
11:53 a.m. Police assist a minor motor vehicle accident on Orrs Mills Road.
12:14 p.m. Police respond to a four-car head-on collision with injuries on Orrs Mills Road.
1:00 p.m. Police respond to a motor vehicle accident with no injuries on Route 94.
1:08 p.m. Police respond to a motor vehicle accident on the Thruway in which a car hit the guardrail and the driver is slumped over the wheel.
1:42 p.m. Police advise subjects riding ATVs in Laurelcrest Park.
4:16 p.m. Police respond to a one-car accident on Taylor Road that occurred when the vehicle slid on ice, left the roadway and struck a small bridge support.
4:47 p.m. Police respond to a two-car motor vehicle accident with no injuries on Route 32.
7:26 p.m. Police respond to a report of a missing 15-year-old girl who is later located in Beacon.
Thursday, January 1
7:24 a.m. Police assist Highland Falls police with a motor vehicle accident with injuries.
10:11 a.m. Police investigate a report of eggs thrown at a car the previous night.
2:19 p.m. Police strongly advise a man against walking on thin ice on Ring’s Pond.
Friday, January 2
7:01 a.m. Police respond to a deer vs. motor vehicle accident on Angola Road and dispatch the injured animal.
10:26 a.m. Police assist a truck stuck under the overpass on Quaker Avenue.
11:16 a.m. Police respond to a motor vehicle accident on Main Street.
1:40 p.m. Police charge 23-year-old Kevin Babcock, of New Windsor, with driving with a suspended license and with speeding on Angola Road.
3:29 p.m. Police take a report from a man who says he has been receiving harassing phone calls from a subject saying disgusting things to his wife and daughter.
7:18 p.m. Police charge an 18-year-old male with criminal mischief in the 4th degree after a domestic incident with his father in which he damaged a parked vehicle with a knife.
9:02 p.m. Police respond to an electrical fire in a refrigerator at Prima Pizza.
Saturday, January 3
2:22 a.m. Police respond to a domestic dispute.
10:03 a.m. Police issue a ticket for driving 64 mph in a 40 mph zone on Route 32.
11:45 a.m. Police respond to a report of an injured deer on Palomino Place and dispatch the injured animal.
Sunday, January 4, 2009
9:12 p.m. Police issue a ticket for driving 68 mph in a 40 mph zone on Route 94.
