Monday, December 15
7:25 p.m. Police issue a ticket for driving 57 mph in a 40 mph zone on Route 94.
Tuesday, December 16
11:45 a.m. Police recover two Christmas lawn ornaments that had been left in a yard in Rose Hill Park: a white metal reindeer with lights and an inflatable Santa-type ornament.
1:21 p.m. Police respond to a minor motor vehicle accident that occurred when the mirror of a passing car hit the mirror of a parked one on Main Street.
5:02 p.m. Police respond to a motor vehicle vs. pole accident on Taylor Road in which the pole was blocking traffic. No injuries.
Wednesday, December 17
3:22 a.m. Police respond to a one vehicle motor accident on Rout 9W. Driver taken to hospital for dizziness.
4:10 p.m. Police investigate a report of an abandoned vehicle and track down the owner to find it had been reported stolen several days earlier.
11:05 p.m. Police respond to deer vs. motor vehicle accident on Route 32.
Thursday, December 18
12:40 p.m. Police charge Marquis Evans, 20, of Wappingers Falls, with unlicensed solicitation after he was found going door to door on Smith Road selling carpet cleaning products.
7:25 p.m. Police respond to a report of Christmas lawn decorations taken from a residence on Algernon Street.
Friday, December 19
2:15 a.m. Police issue a ticket for driving 68 mph in a 40 mph zone on Route 300.
2:00 p.m. Police assist a driver on Rout 9W who did not feel comfortable driving in the snow and requested a tow.
4:34 p.m. Police charge a 21-year-old male with illegal possession of a hypodermic needle after stopping to assist a disabled vehicle on Route 32 in which he was a passenger.
4:45 p.m. Police assist a vehicle that was unable to drive up a hill on Route 94 due to snow conditions.
5:40 p.m. Police assist a vehicle that had gotten stuck in a snow bank on Orrs Mills Road.
6:40 p.m. Police assist a vehicle that had gotten stuck in a ditch on Hasbrouck Avenue.
Saturday, December 20
1:03 a.m. Police respond to a mother-daughter domestic dispute.
8:08 a.m. Police respond to a motor vehicle accident on Route 9W southbound neat the flagpole in which the driver lost control and spun around until it got stuck in a snow bank.
9:31 a.m. Police assist a car that slid into a ditch on Orrs Mills Road.
5:03 p.m. Police respond to a motor vehicle accident on Route 9W northbound in which the driver spun out on ice and ended up facing south.
9:38 p.m. Police issue a ticket for insufficient brake lights to a driver on Route 32.
Sunday, December 21
2:00 a.m. Police issue a ticket for driving with a suspended license on Route 32 to 20-year-old Jessica Weiner of New Windsor..
2:40 a.m. Police respond to Cornwall hospital for a report of an unruly patient.
2:59 a.m. Police respond to a street sign vs. motor vehicle accident.
3:13 a.m. Police respond to a deer vs. motor vehicle accident on Route 94.
11:49 a.m. Police respond to a motor vehicle accident involving a DOT plow and a guardrail.
12:41 p.m. Police respond to a vehicle that had been forced into a snow bank on Route 9W and Route 218 by a passing vehicle.
5:14 p.m. Police assist a vehicle that had slid into a ditch on Route 9W.
