The first snowstorm of the season closed schools in Cornwall on Friday and gave children a chance to play outside.
The decision to cancel school came around 5:30 in the morning, although the flakes didn’t start to fly until 11 a.m. The snow accumulated quickly and children started to come out with their sleds by early afternoon.
