Monday, December 8
3:17 a.m. Police charge 22-year-old Alexa Bristol with driving with a suspended license after she is questioned by police at the Salisbury Mills train station.
8:10 a.m. Police warn a man who had been fired from his job that he will be charged with trespassing if he tries to return to his former place of employment.
12:02 p.m. Police investigate a report of a Christmas tree that had been cut down from private property Old Route 32. The report says that the subject(s) may have been spooked after cutting down the tree and fled the area without the tree, which was left where it had been cut.
2:46 p.m. Police take a report of threats received by a 14-year-old girl on her cell phone.
4:04 p.m. Police respond to a two-car motor vehicle accident on Route 94 and Meadowbrook Path that occurred when one car rear-ended another.
6:50 p.m. Police assist village police with a violent domestic call in which victim and suspect are transported to the hospital via Covac.
Tuesday, December 9
7:44 a.m. Police respond to a motor vehicle accident on Route 9W south in which the driver lost control of her vehicle and hit the center medium.
2:13 p.m. Police stop a vehicle on Quaker Avenue believed to match the description of a suspect fleeing a burglary in Highland Falls but the result is negative.
3:32 p.m. Police charge 48-year-old Armando Gamez, of Allentown, Pa., with driving with a suspended license and issue a ticket for a vehicle violation on Route 9W.
6:28 p.m. Police issue a ticket for an inadequate muffler to a driver on Quaker Avenue.
6:30 p.m. While canvassing a location on Angola Road, police find a man hiding under the bed who is wanted on an outstanding warrant from the city of Newburgh and arrest Wesley Patterson, 25, of Cornwall.
9:24 p.m. Police issue a ticket for an expired inspection to a vehicle parked at the train station.
Wednesday, December 10
12:03 a.m. Police respond to a motor vehicle rollover with no serious injuries on Route 32. Driver says he was driving south on Route 32 near the highway department when a deer ran in front of him and he swerved and left the road, striking the embankment and rolling over.
5:50 p.m. Police assist a driver whose vehicle had slipped into a ditch on Angola Road.
3:09 p.m. Police stop of vehicle that had been observed by another motorist to be driving recklessly and advise the driver.
7:58 p.m. Police take a report of a harassment case at the high school.
Thursday, December 11
8:24 a.m. Police respond to a two-vehicle accident on Route 32 with both drivers reporting back pain who are transported to the hospital. One driver reports that she has no license.
1:48 p.m. Police advise woman who calls to report that she is trying to retrieve $2,000 she made as a deposit on a credit line.
6:42 p.m. Police respond to a report of a tree on the roadway on Route 9W.
6:49 p.m. Police respond to a motor vehicle accident on Angola Road that occurred when a driver hit a tree that had fallen in the road.
7:30 p.m. Police respond to a report of wires arcing on a house on Route 94.
8:34 p.m. Police respond to a report of a tree down on Route 9W southbound and remove several downed trees.
9:39 p.m. Police removing a small tree branch from the roadway on Mine Hill Road hear a crack and observe a branch fall near his vehicle. No damage noted.
9:50 p.m. Police remove multiple trees in the roadway on Route 9W.
11:02 p.m. Police respond to a report of a transformer fire on Angola Road.
Friday, December 12
12:45 a.m. Police respond to a report of wires down on Crestview Drive.
1:53 a.m. Police respond to reports of power lines down on Angola Road.
3:03 a.m. Police respond to a report of a disabled vehicle with a flare on Route 9W near the flagpole and find the vehicle gone but a tree across the roadway.
3:25 a.m. Police respond to a report of a tree across Clarkwood Drive.
4:35 a.m. Police respond to wires down on Route 9W.
5:57 a.m. Police respond to a report of wires on fire on Country Lane.
7:48 a.m. Police respond to a report of wires down across a car on Valley View Lane.
9:26 a.m. Police issue a ticket for an expired inspection to a vehicle parked at the train station.
9:46 a.m. Police respond to a house fire on Mount Airy Road to assist New Windsor Fire department.
2:14 p.m. Police respond to a motor vehicle accident with no injuries on Angola Road. A stop sign was knocked down.
3:11 p.m. Police advise an elderly female caller who says she is cold and has no heat and wants her cell phone charged.
6:05 p.m. Police respond to a motor vehicle accident on Quaker Avenue.
4:30 p.m. Police respond to a report of a tree on a utility line on Otterkill Road and assist Salisbury fire department.
6:10 p.m. Police respond to a report of an injured deer on Route 9W, observe the animal with broken legs and dispatch it.
Saturday, December 13
12:16 a.m. Police remove broken lawn furniture from Willow Avenue roadway.
7:50 a.m. Police investigate a report of a break-in or attempted break-in at Lee Road school.
3:25 p.m. Police locate three deer lawn ornaments stolen from a residence on Willow Avenue during the night.
5:07 p.m. Police respond to a deer vs. vehicle accident on Route 94 and Clove road.
6:21 p.m. Police respond to a deer vs. vehicle accident on Hudson Street near the Little League fields.
Sunday, December 14
12:12 a.m. Police respond to Cornwall hospital for a report of an ER patient trying to tamper with a treatment cart containing narcotics.
2:26 a.m. Police observe a broken window in a classroom at Willow Avenue school.
4:35 p.m. Police respond to a report from a resident of Pleasant Hill Road who said a man came to her house saying his vehicle had broken down on I-87 and that he needed assistance. Police locate subject and assist.
5:00 p.m. Police respond to a deer vs. motor vehicle accident on Erin Court.
6:33 p.m. Police respond to a domestic dispute.
9:20 p.m. Police issue a ticket for driving 60 mph in a 40-mph-zone on Route 94.
