Friday, December 5
12:16 a.m. Police issue a traffic ticket on Hudson Street to a 59-year-old male from Monroe.
6:50 p.m. Police issue a traffic ticket on Rive Avenue to a 25-year-old male from new Windsor.
7:04 p.m. Police respond to a report of larceny from a vehicle whose owner says he put a bag with checks and paperwork in the back of his truck and, after parking the truck in the village, the bag is now missing. Police are notified of papers found all over the road on Route 9W and the subject is assisted by police as he recovers the papers. Two checks are recovered by Highland Falls police.
Saturday, December 6
9:45 a.m. Police respond to a motor vehicle accident that occurred when a vehicle parked behind the Cornwall-on-Hudson Elementary school went in reverse, through a fence and down a wall before coming to rest in the soccer field. (See story)
