General News: High School Teams Are Scholar-Athletes

Cornwall Central School District athletic director Lou Cioffi reports that seven high school teams have been recognized for maintaining their team scholastic average at 90 or above.
“This totally complements our four League and Sectional titles from the fall,” Cioffi said in a release, “and speaks highly of the caliber of our student-athletes and it’s a tribute to them, their teachers and coaches and their parents.”
The honored teams are: Girls Cross Country (94.7), Girl’s Tennis (93.9), Boys Cross Country (93.6), Girl’s Swimming (92.984), Girls Volleyball (92.0), Girls Soccer (91.2) and Football (90.3).
