Monday, November 3
2:44 a.m. Police respond to Cornwall hospital to assist with a violent mental health patient.
@9 a.m. Police investigate a report of jewelry missing from a residence.
2:23 p.m. Police investigate a report of a check sent to a resident who was then told to send money to another location and the original check would be approved for payment.
5:14 p.m. Police observe the street sign and pole down at Main and Willow Avenue.
6:26 p.m. Police charge 59-year-old Ned Thompson of New Windsor with DWI after he was stopped for failure to keep right and failure to stop at a stop sign on Angolad Road.
6:33 p.m. Police respond to a domestic dispute.
Tuesday, November 4
12:27 p.m. Police impound the vehicle of Alfonso Claxto and charge him with driving without a valid license.
4:08 p.m. Police respond to a deer vs. motor vehicle accident on Main Street. The injured deer is dispatched by police.
5:34 p.m. Police issue a ticket for driving 57 mph in a 40 mph zone on Angola Road to a 26-year-old male from Petersberg.
Wednesday, November 5
3:13 a.m. Police charge 23-year-old Kyler Cody with DWI after police stop him for driving 70 mph in a 40 mph zone on Route 32.
10:30-11:48 a.m. Police issue tickets to 14 vehicles with expired inspection stickers at the train station lot in Salisbury Mills and one parked at the rest stop on Route 32.
1:29 p.m. Police issue a traffic ticket on Route 32 to a 26-year-old male from Newburgh.
1:56 p.m. Police issue a traffic ticket on Route 32 to 28-year-old male from Cornwall.
2:15 p.m. Police investigate a report by a resident on Angola Road of a suspicious white male who said he was from Central Hudson when she confronted him on her lawn. Central Hudson said it had no one in the area and subject was not located.
3:07 p.m. Police issue a traffic ticket on Route 32 to a 21-year-old male from Washingtonville.
Thursday, November 6
2:06 a.m. Police issue a traffic ticket on Route 9W to a 44-year-old female from New Windsor.
1:02 p.m. Police issue a ticket for failure to stop at the intersection of Halloran Road and Route 32 to a 51-year-old female from Monroe.
@2 p.m. Police take a complaint from a woman who says there is a video posted on You Tube in which her son is harassed.
@4 p.m. Police take a call from a woman who said she is depressed and take her to Cornwall hospital for an evaluation.
5:41 p.m. Police respond to a minor motor vehicle accident in the CVS pharmacy parking lot.
8:50 p.m. Police investigate a report of the theft of a pocketbook from an employee of a business at 65 Quaker Avenue.
Friday, November 7
1:50 p.m. Police respond to Cornwall hospital to assist medical staff with a patient.
3:43 p.m. Police respond to a deer vs. motor vehicle accident on Orrs Mills Road.
4:26 p.m. Police respond to a reported assault by one person visiting a patient on another visitor. The person in question was escorted out of the hospital prior to police arrival.
Saturday, November 8
@3 a.m. Police arrest a male subject for harassment in a domestic dispute involving his wife.
6:11a.m. Police observe a vehicle parked on Route 32 and interview driver who said he fell asleep and hit a curb, causing two tires to go flat and damaging the rim of his wheels.
2:18 p.m. Police assist a citizen to retrieve his keys from a storm drain on Hudson Street.
9:45 p.m. Police respond to a deer vs. motor vehicle accident on Pleasant Hill Road.
Sunday, November 9
7:28 a.m. Police issue a traffic ticket on Route 32 to a 27-year-old male from Chester.
8:51 a.m. Police respond to a single car motor vehicle accident on state park property on Route 9W.
9:10 a.m. Police issue a ticket for driving 62 mph in a 40 mph zone on Route 94 to a 27-year-old male from Poughkeepsie.
10:07 a.m. Police investigate a vehicle that was damaged during the night while parked on Palomino Place.
2:26 p.m. Police respond to a two-car motor vehicle accident at Chadeayne traffic circle.
4:24 p.m. Police exercise a bench warrant from the town of Newburgh on a 21-year-old male from Newburgh at his place of work.
8:42 p.m. Police respond to a report of an injured deer on Halloran Road and dispatch the animal.
8:53 p.m. Police issue a ticket for driving 54 mph in a 30 mph zone on Quaker Avenue to a 25-year-old male from Washingtonville.
