Monday, October 27
1:24 a.m.  Police issue a traffic ticket on Route 94 to a 20-year-old male from New Windsor.

7:54 a.m.  Police respond to a motor vehicle accident at Beakes Road and Route 32 that occurred when a vehicle pulling out from Beakes Road hit a vehicle on Route 32.

@4 p.m.  Police arrest juvenile suspect in a sex abuse case involving a juvenile victim and juvenile suspects who were placed by family court.

6:42 p.m.  Police issue a traffic ticket on Route 32 to a 21-year-old male from Cornwall.

7:31 p.m.  Police respond to the parking lot of CVS pharmacy for a minor motor vehicle accident.


Tuesday, October 28
7:45 p.m.  Police respond to a motor vehicle accident on Quaker Avenue that occurred when the vehicles rear-ended each other.


Wednesday, October 29
10:46 p.m.  Police charge 31-year-old Robert Jackson, of Wallkill, with unlawful possession of marijuana after police approach a parked vehicle on Highland Avenue and observe a small bag with green leafy substance on the center console.


Thursday, Ocotber 30
7:21 a.m.  Police investigate a report of a delivery of bread stolen from outside the J & K Deli on Route 32.

1:13 p.m.  Police respond to a report from a woman who said she found a large white dog on her porch on Westlin Lane.  The dog has no identification tags and police transport the dog to Flannery Animal Hospital where it is turned over to staff.

9:36 p.m.  Police issue a traffic ticket on Route 9W to a 22-year-old male from Harriman.

10:18 p.m.  Police charge 19-year-old Jermaine Gonzalez, of New Windsor, with reckless driving after clocking him driving 116 mph in a 55 mph zone on Route 32.

10:59 a.m.  Police respond to Cornwall high school where officials turned over a small bag of marijuana found at the school.

11:53 a.m.  Police issue a ticket for driving 59 mph in a 45 mph zone on Route 9W to a 225-year0old female from Cornwall-on-Hudson.

2:22 p.m.  Police observe a telephone pole snapped in half with wires down across the roadway on Route 32.  Both lanes are shutdown and traffic diverted.  Two unoccupied vehicles had been struck by the fallen pole, causing minor damage.


Friday, October 31
4:47 p.m.  Police respond to a motor vehicle accident on Quaker Avenue.

4:50 p.m.  Police respond to a motor vehicle accident involving two vehicles on Route 9W.

5:40 p.m.  Police respond to a deer vs. motor vehicle accident on Mineral Springs Road.

6:11 p.m.  Police respond to Peter Scott Drive for a report of loud music from a band practicing.  Police speak with the subjects who were not in violation of any local ordinances and who note that they always stop playing at 7 p.m.

9:25 p.m.  Police issue a ticket to an 18-year-old male from Cornwall-on-Hudson for operating a motor vehicle with less than two lighted headlamps.

9:56 p.m.  Police issue a ticket for an unapproved headlamp and a ticket for no/inadequate muffler to a 20-year-old male from Washingtonville.

10:08 p.m.  Police issue a ticket for an inadequate tail lamp to a 17-year-old female from Salisbury Mills.

11:20 p.m.  Police respond to a report of an argument between two friends at a house party.

11:30 p.m.  Police issue a ticket for unapproved headlights to a 19-year-old female from Washingtonville.

Saturday, November 1
1:22 a.m.  Police respond to a call for a subject who wants to harm himself and transport him to Cornwall hospital.

3:18 a.m.  Police respond to a noise complaint at the Shamrock Tavern.

10:07 a.m.  Police remove a dead deer from the roadway on Angola Road.

11:08 a.m.  Police observe a medium size, black dog running loose on Route 9W near Mountain Road, secure it and transport it to the Flannery Animal Hospital.

11:30 a.m.  Police take a report of a subject receiving harassing phone calls.

4:52 p.m.  Police respond to a deer vs. motor vehicle accident on Route 9W.

6:25 p.m.  Police respond to a report of harassing phone calls exchanged by two subjects.

10:12 p.m.  Police respond to a deer vs. motor vehicle accident on Route 9W.


Sunday, November 2
1:24 a.m.  Police respond to a noise complaint at Shamrock Tavern.

8:56 a.m.  Police issue a ticket to a 16-year-old female from Highland Mills for traveling 70 mph in a 55 mph zone on Route 9W.

4:18 p.m.  Police take a report of an election sign removed from private property on Ridge Road.
