General News: Safe Harbors Wins Chamber Award

A non-profit organization founded by Cornwall-on-Hudson resident Tricia Haggerty-Wenz has been selected as the winner of this year’s prestigious “Not-for-Profit Enterprise of the Year” Award, bestowed by the Orange County Chamber of Commerce.
Her organization, Safe Harbors of the Hudson, was selected for this extraordinary honor because its “service and commitment to the community and to the Chamber are exemplary, as are (its) contributions to the quality of life in our area” according to John A. D’Ambrosio, the President of the Chamber.
Safe Harbors is committed to transforming lives and building communities through housing and the arts.
The award will be presented at the Chamber’s Annual Meeting and Awards Reception at Kuhl’s Highland House in Middletown on Wednesday, October 29, from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m.
