Sunday, October 19
1:33 a.m. Police charge Oscar Banks, 22, of Newburgh, with possession of marijuana and with driving with a suspended license after his vehicle was stopped on Shore Road for an equipment violation.
10:05 a.m. Police issue a ticket for a seatbelt violation to a 27-year-old male from Cornwall-on-Hudson.
Monday, October 20
6:29 p.m. Police investigate a report of a stolen safe and a computer taken from a residence on Cherry Avenue.
Tuesday, October 21
9:36 a.m. Police respond to a report of a dog in its owner’s pool that was trapped and needed assistance to get out. Fire department is also dispatched and dog is out of the pool prior to arrival of both units.
4:40 p.m. Police respond to a deer vs. motor vehicle accident on Shore Road.
9:01 p.m. Police respond to a report of a 12-year-old threatening to harm himself and assist COVAC to transport subject to the hospital.
Wednesday, October 22
3:34 p.m. Police issue a ticket to a vehicle parked illegally on the Maple Avenue Ext.
5:15 p.m. Police issue a traffic ticket to a 22-year-old male from Monsey, N.Y. on River Avenue.
