MIGHTY MITES-GREEN
The Green MM Dragons played a great game against the Newburgh MM team. Offensive standouts were Anthony Lomoriello at running back, Cameron Franke at QB who had 4 completed passes and Justin Hart who made some great blocks. Greg Moretto, Daniel Leach, Daniel Heffner and Tim Cartright played great defense. Ryan Ruiz and Jon Velez provided some great blocking up front. All players played with great enthusiasm and had fun.
DIVISION I-WHITE
The Dragons White team beat Highland Falls thanks to outstanding offensive blocking by Justin Cerone, Spencer Lupo, Michael Carton, Ian Engenito, Thomas Keller, Gabrielle Kurtz, Danny Rico and Matt Krafft. Kyle O’Brien and Brandon Willett combined for a total of 5 TD’s en route to a 32-20 victory over the Junior Black Knights.
DIVISION II-WHITE
The White Dragons played hard against Minisink Green, but lost 34-12. Nick Krafft scored the first TD when he caught a 15-yard seam pass from Michael Reilly. Austin Faller used his speed to race 30 yards down the sideline for the second TD. Jesse Santafemia and Brendan O’Flaherty had a good day on the ground running behind Tyler Trieste, Nick Russo, and Brendan Rose. Richard Thorpe and Mitchell Bell each recovered fumbles on defense. Danny Malvey, Triston Norton, and Anthony Destaso also played well on the defensive line.
