Monday, September 29
5:17 a.m.  Police issue a traffic ticket on Route 32 to a 43-year-old male from New Windsor.

7:22 a.m.  Police respond to a report of a rock thrown through the driver side window of a backhoe at Storm King Golf course during the weekend and a flag that had been stolen from the second hole of the golf course a week earlier.

8:34 a.m.  Police issue two traffic tickets on Route 32 to a 21-year-old male from Newburgh.

11:40 a.m.  Police issue a traffic ticket on Route 94 to a 20-year-old male from New Windsor.

12:21 p.m.  Police issue a traffic ticket on Route 94 to a 23-year-old male from Washingtonville.

3:07 p.m.  Police charge 21-year-old Mauricio Solis, of Newburgh, with driving without a license on Route 32 and told him that he would impound the car.  The subject then drove off and was stopped by the officer who then charged him with failure to comply.  His vehicle was impounded.

6:08 p.m.  Police issue a traffic ticket on Route 94 to a 17-year-old male from Washingtonville.

@7 p.m.  Police investigate a reported burglary that occurred on Tolleson Place during the afternoon.

9:00 p.m.  Police respond to a report of an object, possibly a rock, striking a vehicle on Route 9W near the flagpole.


Tuesday, September 30
1:07 a.m.  Police observe a male behind Key Foods with some kind of paste and paint brush.  Subject admitted that he intended to paste a poster of a woman’s face on the rear wall of the building.  Subject is transported to his residence and turned over to his mother.

6:39 a.m.  Police issue three tickets – for a loud exhaust, for an unlicensed driver, and for an expired inspection – to  a 28-year-old male from Cornwall.

9:12 a.m.  Police ticket and then impound an abandoned vehicle parked on Route 9W near the town of Highlands line.

1:30 p.m.  Police receive a report of a missing person who suffers from dementia who is later located in New Jersey.

2:10 p.m.  Police respond to a report of juveniles on the roof of the American Legion building and interview two 13-year-olds, a 14-year-old and another minor who admit to having been on the roof.  They are strongly advised.

5:30 p.m.  Police turn into the kennel a large yellow Labrador dog that had been found on Taylor Road with no tags.


Wednesday, October 1
5:30 a.m.  Police respond to a motor vehicle rollover on Route 9W that occurred after a vehicle slid on wet pavement.  No injuries reported.

11:38 a.m.  Police tow a vehicle that had been stopped on Route 32 due to obscured windows.  The 24-year-old male driver from Monroe was ticketed for driving without a license.

5:25 p.m.  Police charge a 52-year-old male from Modena with driving with a suspended registration.

8:58 p.m.  Police issue a traffic ticket for driving 54 mph in a 40 mph zone on Route 94 to a 20-year-old male from Walden.


Thursday, October 2
12:47 a.m.  Police issue a traffic ticket on Route 32 to an 18-year-old female from new Windsor.

10:43 a.m.  Police issue a ticket for driving 62 mph in a 45 mph zone on Route 9W to a 23-year-old female from Port Jervis.

3:02 p.m. Police issue a traffic ticket for driving through a red light at Route 9W and Laurel Avenue to a 59-year-old male from New Windsor.

3:24 p.m.  Police respond to a report of a vehicle parked on Main Street that had been damaged in a hit-and-run accident.

3:58 p.m.  Police respond to a two car motor vehicle accident on Route 94 in which a driver started sneezing that caused him to loose full vision of the roadway and he rear-ended a vehicle that had stopped to make a turn.

9:38 p.m.  Police take a report from a woman who said she is receiving harassing calls from a former boyfriend.
