Thursday, September 11
8:15 a.m. Police issue a ticket for driving 44 mph in a 30 mph zone on Bayview Avenue to a 38-yaer-old male from Marlboro.
10:20 a.m. Police respond to a one-car motor vehicle accident that the driver said occurred when he took his eyes of the road to look for a bag in the back seat and he hit the median.
8:24 p.m. Police respond to a domestic dispute.
Friday, September 12
12:34 p.m. Police assist a woman who wanted to pick up her son at a friend’s house and he refused to go with her.
Saturday, September 13
5:24 a.m. Police respond to a report of a barking dog and speak to its owner.
8:15 p.m. Police assist town police with a domestic dispute follow-up.
10:01 p.m. Police move along a group of juveniles at Cornwall-on-Hudson elementary school.
Sunday, September 14
12:40 a.m. Police respond to a domestic assault that results in the arrest of 39-year-old Kevin Nelson from Cornwall-on-Hudson.
2:37 a.m. Police respond to a noise complaint on Avenue A and advise a woman playing soccer in her front yard to be quiet.
5:02 a.m. Police respond to a a utility pole fire on River Avenue and Hudson Street.
12:45 a.m. Police respond to a hit-and-run accident involving a car parked at 217 Hudson Street.
Monday, September 15
5:04 a.m. Police remove hazardous tree limbs from Dock Hill Road.
Tuesday, September 16
1:45 p.m. Police respond to Cornwall-on-Hudson Elementary where they are advised of five small bags that possibly contained drugs at one time that were found in back of the school on the picnic table.
6:33 p.m. Police advise a group of bike riders not to obstruct vehicular traffic on Hudson Street.
9:40 p.m. Police move along two suspicious vehicles at the riverfront.
Wednesday, September 17
12:25 p.m. Police assist town police in locating a mental health patient who is highly intoxicated and on prescription medications.
1:34 p.m. Police responds to a report of a snake in a woman's bedroom and officer advises that the snake moved to the outdoors.
