Sunday, August 10
8:59 a.m. Police issue a parking ticket to a vehicle parked with its left side to the curb on Second Street.
3:09 p.m. Police investigate a report of a missing person. Person was missing after going to meet a subject from an online dating site in Queens. Numerous attempts to contact the person were unsuccessful and NYPD eventually contacts the person at 7:30 p.m.
Monday, August 11
12:54 a.m. Police observe two males in the parking lot of St. Thomas church running and shouting and advise them to leave the area.
9:45 a.m. Police find a yellow lab dog with no tags in front of the elementary school and bring it to the kennel.
11:55 p.m. Police respond to a residence for a report of a female passed out and not breathing. A resident provided mouth-to-mouth to the subject who is conscious when police and ambulance arrive. Subject is taken to Cornwall hospital for evaluation.
Tuesday, August 12
9:18 p.m. Police advise three 18-year-old drivers of three vehicles at the riverfront that the park is closed.
11:34 p.m. Police arrest a 13-year-old male who was seen by a homeowner riding away on her son’s bicycle from her home on Homeland Avenue. A second juvenile was walking away with the boy on the bicycle when the victim yelled for them to stop and called police. Police charge the 13-year-old with petty larceny and criminal trespassing. A marijuana pipe that was in the youth’s pocket is placed in an evidence locker.
Wednesday, August 13
No arrests or summonses.
Thursday, August 14
4:15 p.m. Police respond to a mother-daughter domestic dispute.
Friday, August 15
11:38 a.m. Police advise skateboarders at the village bandstand to clean up the area.
1:30 p.m. Police remove three male skateboarders from the bandstand.
1:39 p.m. Police remove five males and two females from the front lawn of Cornwall-on-Hudson elementary school.
2:30 p.m. Police respond to a two-vehicle motor vehicle accident at Mountain Road and Route 9W.
7:41 p.m. Police respond to a harassment complaint at a private residence.
Saturday, August 16, 2008
1:15 p.m. Police respond to a report of a $20 bill removed from the glove compartment of an unlocked vehicle parked on Payson Road.
7:58 p.m. Police advise subjects to leave the municipal parking lot.
