"Dropped a dime"... ratted the bastard out, finked on him... As I see it, the Mayor is an officer of the town and if he is encouraging the police to do what the community wants then he is doing his job. Having to buy a parking sticker to enjoy one of the most beautiful areas around is not a hardship. A $10 parking fee for one full year of waterfront bliss is money well spent. Get with the program. And now, it's even easier to get your sticker because you can buy it at the River.

I agree with Kate, but it was still pretty lame that he called.

I see the mayor at the waterfront on many occasions. Like many of us he goes there to enjoy the view and get a little relaxation. He also has an open ear to anyone who wants to discuss the day to day operations of the village. Before you bash him for calling the police on illegally parked cars consider the possibility that someone may have pointed this out to him. Whatever the case, good job Joe, keep up the good work.
