Thursday, July 24
6:41 p.m. Police issue a ticket on Hudson Street to an 18-year-old male from Cornwall-on-Hudson.
9:35 p.m. Police respond to the front lawn of the Cornwall-on-Hudson Elementary school to a report of a highly-intoxicated female on the grass. Subject is transported to Cornwall hospital by COVAC. Her companions are interviewed and her mother is advised.
Friday, July 25
12:46 p.m. Police police advise parents of a boy involved in harassing phone calls and emails to an ex-girlfriend.
9:13 p.m. Village police assist town, New Windsor units to apprehend a vehicle traveling on Route 9W in excess of 100 mph.
Saturday, July 26
1:30 p.m. Police open an investigation in a report of harassment in the parking lot of St. Thomas church.
3:24 p.m. Police charge 26-year-old Richard Mahis, of Cornwall-on-Hudson, with driving a motorcycle with a suspended driver’s license.
7:33 p.m. Police issue a parking ticket to a vehicle at the riverfront without a parking permit.
8:27 p.m. Police request an ambulance to check out a 10-year-old child who fell off a swing in the playground behind Cornwall-on-Hudson Elementary School.
9::21 p.m. Police repond to a report of three people in a car who sprayed an unknown substance, possibly pepper spray, at two subjects walking along, in separate incidents, on Hudson Street. Town and village units search with negative results.
Comments:
Police dept performed a marvelous job at the fireman's fair it sure was nice to see all of them interacting with the crowd. That is what a small village is all about.
