Thursday, June 19
11:22 a.m. Police issue a ticket to a 41-year-old female from Cornwall-on-Hudson for driving 50 mph in a 30 mph zone on Route 218.
11:47 a.m. An employee of the DB Mart advises police of a verbal altercation between two males over a parking space. No futher info. other than color of car and truck.
3:08 p.m. Police charge 21-year-old Joseph Travis, of Rock Hill, with driving a motorcycle with a revoked license on Bayview Street.
6:33 p.m. Police find a red Upland Giant bicyle on Shore Road and place it in storage.
7:44 p.m. Police assist town police with a fight in progress on Highland Avenue.
11:51 p.m. Police advise subjects at the riverfront to move along.
Friday, June 20
8:55 a.m. Homeowner on Pine Street calls dispatch to report that their house had been hit with eggs. Homeowner washed the eggs off and did not want police to response.
10:30 a.m. Subject comes to police headquarters to report that an unknown person or persons threw eggs at her residence sometime between the evening of the 19th and the morning of the 20th. The eggs hit the garage door and driveway of the residence on White Terrace.
12:58 p.m. Police respond to a report of fireworks going off on Avenue A and find nothing.
1:57 p.m. Police respond to a report of fireworks being set off on Avenue A and advise the resident of one home.
Saturday, June 21
8:50 a.m. Police investigate a report of a larceny from an unlocked vehicle parked overnight in the parking lot behind the apartments on Curie Road. Missing was a wallet with $12 and credit cards, plus a fishing pole.
11:45 a.m. Police investigate a report of fraud in which a woman received a check in the mail telling the recipient to cash the check and send some of the money as a processing fee then the subject would receive a large sum of money. ZThe officer calls the suspect who says he wanted the victim to send him $2,750 and then she would receive almost $40,000. The suspect says he is in candad and sticks to his story. Officer makes a copy of the check and the word VOID comes up on the check that you couldn't see on the original.
12:40 p.m. Police respond to Duncan Avenue for a report of power wires touching trees and making smoke. Central Hudson advised.
6:11 p.m. Police issue a ticket to a vehicle parked at the riverfront without a permit.
9:48 p.m. Police issue a ticket for tinted windows on a vehicle driven by an 18-year-old male from New Windsor who said, "the rear window can be as dark as I want," and cursed the officer.
